Making friends!

Ravens POV

I sat down on the stairs next to the door, I pulled one of my spell books out of my bag and started to read. Azar always writes me notes and slides then in the books, the first one I found was: 'Put the book down and make some friends!' I roll my eyes after and read it and kept reading. I look up from my book and have a look at the people. Almost all of them look human, a handful have something to give that away. Some had wings, odd coloured hair, robotic parts or even just their eyes. But the one that really caught my attention was the green boy. He reminds me of a goblin that my father once killed! I shrug and keep on reading, but I can't concentrate, I can't stop looking at that boy! *Sigh* I put the book down and just watch him for a bit, the robot man dragged him off to these girls. Only then did I realize he was starring at me too! I pick my book up and pretend to read, Please don't come over here please don't come over here please don't come over here! I think to myself, I look up again and see him running over here. Great! 

He sits down next to me, I turn away from him. "Hey!" he says, I put my hand up for a second then keep reading. "I'm Beast Boy!" he puts his hand out to shake mine. "Don't lie to me, whats your real name?" I ask and put the book down. I already new his real name, I read his mind, I just don't want him to lie! "Fine my real names Garfield, but I go by Beast boy!" he smiles at me, I blush slightly and pull my hood down further. "I'm Raven!" I whisper and pick my book back up. "What you reading?" he asked and leaned over trying to read too. "The sacred book of Azarthian spells." I say simply and move away slightly. "Cool, you do magic then?" I shake my head. "I can do many things, spells is just part of it!" I keep reading. It's cute how hard he's trying to be my friend, I didn't anyone would want to even look at me! I notice he's starring at me, I close my book and face him, "What?" I snap, he smiles. "I love your eyes!" I turn bright red, my hair starts to hover pulling my hood down. I turn away from his gaze and control myself. "Are you ok?" he asked, "I can smell fear!" I just nod and flip my hood back up. "I'm fine, how can you smell fear?" I ask, I can't be bothered to read his mind. "Animal DNA, I can transform into any animal that's ever walked the earth, wolves can smell fear so can I!" He seemed pretty pleased with himself, but his smile soon faded. "What's wrong?" I ask, I can sense pain and regret, but mostly depression. "Nothing just remember something I want to forget!" he shrugs. A slight blue mist surrounds my book, Azar sent me a note! "The saddest people smile brightest?" I read aloud, I look at him he looks at me. "What are your powers exactly?" he asked, probably trying to change the subject. "My main powers are flight, teleaportation, opening portals, telepathic, telekinesis and I'm an empath, I can sense emotions!" I shrug as if it's no big deal. His face lights up, "That's so cool!" He stands up, "Common I want you too meet my friends!" He grabs my hand and pulls me up. I use my telekinesis to take my bags and book with me, 

He takes us to a group of people, the robot man was there, along with a boy with black spiky hair and a mask, a boy with short ginger hair and the same mask, a girl with long red hair and orange skin, a boy with a black mullet and a girl with two brown buns on her head and insect wings. "Hey guys this is Raven!"
