I wake up and text Sasha. She says she's coming today. I hope it's true. I can't survive another day without my bestie.
I get to school, and sure enough, she's here! I run up to her and tackle her in a hug. "Hey sista from another mista. I've missed you," she says. "I've missed you too," I say. I ask her if she's better and she nods.
We go to class and I tell her I have a date with Finn tonight. "Where?" she asks. I shrug and she texts him:
So I heard about you and Bayley going on a date! Where are you going?
I take her phone and see he has text back:
Just this nice restaurant downtown. Tell her to wear something like she would wear to a school dance, but not prom.
I smile and text him back:
Okay!
The rest of the school day flies by fast. I'm so excited for my date tonight!
