Monday rolls around again. The girls and I are warming up for P.E. when the announcements come on.
"Good morning WWE High! Please listen up for your morning announcements. Seniors, you better start making a countdown, because your graduation is in 10 school days."
We all look at each other as if it just hit us for the first time. We're going to be leaving here soon. We won't ever be high schoolers again.
It doesn't take long for all of us to break down in tears. We all engulf each other in hugs as the teacher looks at us as if we are on....you know.
"I'm gonna miss the cheerleaders," Bayley says. (I actually completely forgot she was cheer captain and that Sasha was dance captain. Whoops)
"And I'm gonna miss my dancers," Sasha cries.
"I'm gonna miss all of you," Alexa tells us. "Even though we've only been friends for a year, y'all have been the best friends I can ever ask for. I'm going to miss you all so much."
At this point, we're lying on the floor sobbing.
"Thank you guys so much for sticking with me for all these years," I say. "I can't imagine having to put up with me for so long."
"Why are we crying?" Billie asks. "It's literally two weeks away."
We all shrug. Maybe we all are on....you know.
