Chapter 59: Bayley

I'm sitting on my bed, watching Riverdale when I get a call from Becky. I answer it.

"Hey Becky!" I say into the phone.

"Hey Bayley," she says on the other line, her thick, Irish accent ringing through my ears. I put it on speaker so her accent could fill up the room.

"Guess what?" she asks me.

"What?" I ask her.

"I just saw a ring. Sami was holding it. It was the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen in my life. Do you think that's what he got me for Christmas?"

I smile. Finn told me he was going ring shopping with Sami, but he never told me how beautiful the ring was.

"Probably," I tell her. "It could be for Sheamus' fiancé. You'll just have to wait until Christmas."

"I can't wait 6 weeks," she groans. I laugh.

"Yes you can. Now, I'm going to let you go. I'm watching Riverdale."

"Oh, the new episode? Spoiler alert: Jughead starts to play Gryphons and Gargoyles and Betty is now the only sane person in Riverdale," she spoils.

I groan. "Becky! Why'd you do that?" I turn off the TV. There's no sense in watching the rest of the episode now.

"So I can continue talking to you."

I roll my eyes and continue to talk to Becky on the phone.
