"Okay, Operation Get Everyone to Vote Sami and Becky Prom King and Queen is go," I whisper to everyone in the friend group except for Becky and Sami.
Everyone goes around, telling everybody else our plan. Bayley stands next to me and claps joyfully. She's so excited about this.
I know how much she wanted to be Prom Queen back in Jr. High.
Finn and Seth run back toward us, saying that they each told about six or seven people.
"Great!" Bayley says, kissing him on the cheek. She takes his hand and he walks her to P.E.
Seth kisses me on the cheek:
"See you second hour," he says. I smile and walk to P.E. by myself.
Becky approaches me.
"What's going on?" she asks. "Everyone's talking about me. What did I do?"
"Nothing. Why?"
"Wait, I think I might know what it is."
"What?" I ask, clearly confused.
"I think people know about my new boyfriend."
"WHAT?!" I yell. "New boyfriend? What are you talking about?"
"That new guy, Dean Ambrose. He asked me to Prom. And then I asked him out. We both said yes."
I'm shocked.
"Oh, good for you then," I tell her. I get out my phone and text Bayley.
