Chapter 55: Sasha

I've recently been released from the hospital. I'm going back to school today to surprise everyone.

I check my watch. 8:03. Perfect. Nobody will suspect a thing.

I walk into the gym, since I have PE first hour. Nobody notices me. Huh.

"Wow, I thought you guys would be more excited to see me," I say. Everyone turns towards me.

"SASHA!!" everyone screams. They all run toward me and hug me. Well, everyone except Charlotte.

"We missed you so much!" Peyton says.

"How's your back?" Billie asks.

"Girl, you look fabulous!" Carmella tells me.

"I missed you guys, too, my back is better, and thanks Mella," I say.

Bayley hugs me tight. "Welcome back, Sasha. Without you in this school, it's been pretty boring."

"Yeah," Alexa chimes in. "Who else was supposed to tell us all the hot gossip?"

I laugh. "That hospital was pretty boring. Sitting in the same room all day. Ugh. The only good part was that all of you visited me. I'm grateful for that."

I hug everyone again, soaking it all in. These girls are my friends, and I know they'll never hurt or betray me.

Yay, Sasha is back! Also, I'm going to go on a rant for a little, so, brave yourselves:

I didn't place at competition, and I was mad. The same school got first in everything. Even our high school squad, who placed third, said that our team and the two dance teams were cheated. And I agree. Even the parents whose kids got first place said that we deserved that win. We were supposed to win, but they threw our score sheet out. Who does that? Ughhhhhh.
