Chapter 42: Sasha

*time skip to the next day*

It's the day after auditions, and I'm so nervous. Roman and I audition for Jasmine and Aladdin. I'm hoping we get the parts. Oh! The list is here.

Jasmine: Sasha Banks

Yes! I got the part. I'm so happy right now!

Aladdin: Seth Rollins

What the heck? What about Roman? Oh no, not Seth. We just broke up. It's going to be so awkward at practice tomorrow.

Genie: Kevin Owens

Jafar: Braun Strowman

Jasmine's Father: Roman Reigns

Oh no. Roman has to play my father? Wow.

Music Director/Director: Bayley Rollins

I'm so proud of Bayley. She loves music. This'll be perfect for her.

Assistant Music Director: Finn Bálor

Wow. Of course they do that for Finn. He gets enough time with her already.

*tine skip to the next day, practice*

"Okay! Sasha, Seth, take your places on the magic carpet," Bayley says. "Okay, music is starting, Seth, that's your cue."

Seth starts to sing (AN: Italics is them singing separately, underlines is them singing together):

I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid.
Tell me, princess, now when did you last let your heart decide?
I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder.
Over, sideways and under on a magic carpet ride.

My back is turned to him and I cross my arms. It was supposed to be Roman and I! Not Seth!

A whole new world!
A new fantastic point of view.
No one to tell us no, or where to go, or say we're only dreaming.

I roll my eyes and I start to sing:

A whole new world!
A dazzling place I never knew.
But when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear
That now I'm in a whole new world with you.

"Sasha!" Bayley says. I look at her. "Yes Bay?" I ask.

"I know you don't want to do this, but please face Seth. We want to feel the love. Let's resume now! And, un-pause music, Finn! Action!"

Seth sings now:

Now I'm in a whole new world with you.

Now me:

Unbelievable sights
Indescribable feeling.
Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling through an endless diamond sky.

I look at Seth. If this play was Beauty and the Beast, I would be singing "Something There" right now. I'm actually kind of enjoying this with Seth. Sure, we're exes, and Roman would be slightly jealous, but it doesn't mean we can't have fun. I continue singing:

A whole new world
(Don't you dare close your eyes)
A hundred thousand things to see.
(Hold you breath, it gets better)
I'm like a shooting star, I've come so far.
I can't go back to where I used to be.
(A whole new world)
Every turn a surprise
(With new horizons to pursue)
Every moment red letter.
I'll chase them anywhere

Now Seth sings:

Me:

A wondrous place.
For you and me.

Before I know it, I'm leaning in already. How is this happening? Is it the song, because it's setting a really romantic mood.

"CUT!" Bayley screams. "Nice guys, keep it up."

Wow Bayley, way to ruin the moment. Wait, why do I want to kiss Seth.

Oh no, I still love him.

This is my longest chapter yet, with 596 words. I did not think I would write all of this. I guess Aladdin just gets my brain turning. Until next time!
