~Kakashi's POV~
"She'll be helping me train Team 7?" I sighed, expecting some young girl with no experience who will try to help but will only manage to get in the way, "Can you tell me a bit about her please?"

The Third Hokage simply smiled, "Her name is Amaya Morita and she's a jonin like you. She just left the ANBU. She's extremely powerful and we believe she might possess some kind of strange jutsu which I want you to observe. She's the 10 tails jinchuriki and has managed to control that beast however, that secret mustn't get out. She's had a hard life in The Village Hidden in the Mist, so please do your best to make her feel welcome, okay Kakashi?" He finished as he closed her file.

My jaw was ajar for the first time in a long time. That name, her name, was so familiar, "Amaya Morita..?" I whispered to myself. No, it couldn't be the girl I was friends with all those years ago. She was dead most certainly, "Yes sir, when do I meet her?" I asked fixing my awe.

The Third chuckled at my reaction to her, "She should be here by now, I wonder what's taking her so long," he heard the same noise I did, causing us to look towards the door, a heeled walk along the hall before the door opened, "Ah here she is."

I turned to greet her but couldn't manage a word. She was the most attractive women I had ever seen. Even more beautiful then the women described in my books. I couldn't help but blush under my mask and turn back to the Hokage, Amaya Morita.

~Amaya's POV~
I woke up a bit late but honestly I didn't care to much, I would just make up some lame excuse when I got there. I slipped on my usual outfit and grabbed an apple on the way out the door. I had admired my apartment as I made my way through, I sure did do a great job at decorating.

I walked through the village and up to the Hokage building, then into the room he was in, "Ah here she is," was all he said as I opened the door. I looked to the man beside me, and to my surprise it was the man I saw last night. He looked at me then turned his masked face back to the Hokage, strange, "I'm sorry I'm late a black cat crossed my path and I had to take another route," I close eye smiled and scratched the back of my head. The Hokage laughed as the silver haired man whipped around and looked at me bewildered. I turned to him, "Can I help you?" Which came it a tad ruder than I expected.

The Hokage simply said, "See Kakashi you and her already have something in common. Always late with bad excuses," I stopped at his name, Kakashi? No, it couldn't be him I had heard the whole team had ended up perishing a long time ago, right? The Hokage continued, "Amaya dear, this is Kakashi Hatake. You will be training a team with him since I want to ease you back into regular ninja duties. He's training a team consisting of Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha, any questions?" I couldn't believe it, the nine tailed jinchuriki and one of the last Uchiha? This team was bound to be a lot to handle.

"One actually, when do we meet the team?" My heart was still pounding because although I acted as if my mind was on the kids, it was on Kakashi. His name... it-it was him, it had to be him. The stance was the same, the behavior was the same, and how could I forget his strange silver hair? The Hokage noticed my staring and smiled, but didn't say anything.

"You'll meet them in the morning. Until then I want you two to get acquainted today, you're dismissed," and with that Kakashi and I walked out of the office. I couldn't help but sneaking a few glances at him here and there. He certainly grew up to be just as I had expected. Suddenly, he stopped and grabbed my wrist. He used a transportation jutsu and we were on the roof of some building where we could see the whole city, I was amazed at the view.

"I'm Kakashi Hatake," was all he said after I got over the view and looked at him bewildered. I shook his hand and nodded. I looked down at my feet, this was him. His voice and the way he presents himself, I'm sure it.

"I'm Amaya Morita," I dropped his hand. I sprung out with the first question I could think of, I had to prove to myself it was really Kakashi, "So, who was your sensei? Believe it or not I trained around here so I know some of them by name," I smiled kindly at him but examined him with determination.

"I trained under Minato Namikaze," he started looking me up and down, "how about you?" He closed eye smiled at me and my heart skipped a beat.

I could hardly contain myself, "I also trained under Minato..." I paused while he took a step back, "Kakashi, is that really you?" I looked up to see him inches from my face. I tried taking a step back but he grabbed my wrist.

"Amaya I thought you were..." he stopped mid sentence and pulled me into a tight hug, which was obvious he didn't do often.

I wrapped my arms around his neck tightly and let out a shuddery breath, "Kakashi..."
