CHAPTER 2

I didn't respond back. Instead, I wanted to surprise them there. Every time we go out to eat, we always go to Taegukgi Korean BBQ

I went to my closet and tried to find an outfit to wear. As always, I made a whole ocean of clothes on the ground. You couldn't even see the floor. I found my outfit and cleaned my floor.

I smiled to myself and put on my pink high heels. I was about to step out of my room but someone opened my door first and I got hit in the head.

  I fell to the floor because if my high heels. I couldn't keep my balance. I heard someone gasp. The voice was a guys voice. Youngjae.

  "What the fuck Youngjae!" I yelled making him jump. I got off the floor to face him. I was the same height, thanks to my heels. Youngjae was only my stepbrother. He was too overprotective.

"Where are you going?" He inquires while looking at me from head to toe. "And what did I say about cursing?"

I scoffed and said "What did Taeyeon and I say about knocking on their door before coming in, huh? I'm going to go eat with my friends so shoo!"

  Youngjae is easy to boss around. He'll just do whatever we say. Youngjae frowned and went to his room. Good thing I don't have a stepbrother that gives an attitude. I went downstairs and say Taeyeon with bags in her hand

She ran to me and smiled "Soyeon-ah. I went to the mall and got you some clothes. Here!" Taeyeon. Gave me 5 bags of clothes. She also had 5 bags. The clothes were from forever 21. I smiled.

"Thank you Taeyeon-unnie!"

She just nodded and went upstairs. I put the bags in the table and checked my phone. I panicked and ran to my car. 11:54. Good thing Taegukgi isn't that far from my house. I just hope there's no traffic.

While I was driving, Lisa called me. The traffic light was red so I quickly answered. I never spoke to her in forever!

Soyeon: LISA UNNIE!

Lisa: HELLO SOYEON!!

Soyeon: What's up? Why did you call me?
Lisa: I now have a boyfriend!

Soyeon: You do? Since when?

Lisa: 2 months. Sorry I didn't tell you
Soyeon: Ahh. What's his name?

Lisa: Meet me at Taegukgi Korean BBQ. He's coming with me!

Soyeon: Oh! I'm going there right now to see Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri!

Lisa: okay! Great! See you there!

Soyeon: Bye!

I hanged up the call and arrived at Taegukgi Korean BBQ. I saw Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. They all ran to me. Wendy looked at me and frowned.

Wendy: Soyeon.. look behind you...

I looked behind me and saw Lisa and Jungkook. My heart sank. 2 months together? So Jungkook cheated on me.. no wonder why he broke up with me..

I looked back to the other 5. I got teary.. Joy's eyes widened and ran to hug me. Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Yeri also hugged me.

Seulgi: Soyeon.. Lisa is not a true friend. She stole Jungkook from you. Ignore her. Break the friendship between you and her.

Lisa tapped on your shoulder and you turned around. Joy looked mad.

Lisa: Soyeon! Meet my boyfriend! Jungkook! *smirk*

I met eyes with Jungkook. He looked guilty but at the same time, he looked happy that he was with Lisa. I stared at Lisa and finally spoke.

Soyeon: Lisa. You're eating here right? You're not sitting at the same table as us. Oh! I forgot! Let's break the friendship.

Lisa curled up her fist and held Jungkook's hand tighter as she got angrier. Jungkook had so expression on his face like he he knew I was going to break the friendship with Lisa. She slapped me so hard, it made a noise. [Inserts slap noise] Everyone turned their heads to us. They saw my cheek red like cherry 🍒. I slowly sobbed as Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri held me. Someone from the tables got out of their seat and slapped Lisa himself.

I looked up at him. I stopped breathing. He had nice small and soft lips. A handsome face. Black hair, and handsome eyes. He was wearing jeans and a black hoodie. He looked back at me and smiled. His smile made me feel like I was in heaven. I couldn't stop staring at me. I realized I was staring at him and looked away. Wendy laughed and whispered into my ear.

Wendy: You look good together Soyeon.

I hit her arm playfully and looked at the man. He was still smiling. Am I in heaven or what? He finally spoke to me, making me blush even though he didn't say anything nice.

???: I'm Jin. What's your name?

I couldn't respond. I was mouthing words that he couldn't understand. Irene was smiling like an idiot. I think she wanted me and Jin together. I can't speak. His beauty is taking away my breath.

Soyeon: I'm soy.. soyeo.. ahh

My body hit the hard floor. I didn't see Lisa and Jungkook. She must've went somewhere else. I heard all of them gasp. My vision was getting blurry. I never fainted before. My face was turning pale. I heard some voices calling my name. I couldn't tell who though. Joy was shaking me. I could see Jin getting worried. My eyes finally closed, still hearing them telling me to wake up. Now I couldn't hear them. My legs were shaking.. My head started to hurt. Why did this happen? It's not because of Jin.. it's not because of Lisa and Jungkook.. it's because I saw someone. The person who killed my parents. I still managed to remember his name.
