As we left, everyone went up to coach and asked why I was the the team captain. Coach said one simple thing.
"She has more talent and passion for playing and having fun, then playin to win every single game." With that I smiled. He did as well. That's when I ran home. I reached home and looked at the clock.
'11:30 pm, shit." I was surprised my dad stayed up. But he wasn't happy.
"Anna," he started. "You're mother, she had cancer. Matt left her and she only has the dog for a number of days and she wants you to have him."
"Dad," my voice chocked. I knew when she was goin to give me the dog, she wasn't going to live.i broke down, right there, and my dad caught me, and held me.
