Jungkook—

I wandered into the school, dizzily, clutching my head to make the spinning stop. Why was the floor suddenly the ceiling? Wait...am I standing on the ceiling?

Without realizing it, I'd fallen against the wall, yet continued to trudge to my first class. My hand shakily steadied me, as I blindly followed instinctive steps. There was a tug on my sleeve, making me stop my drunken march. It was a group of girls, and they were all looking at me with concern in their eyes.

"Oppa?" One of them with curly hair spoke. "Are you alright?" Her voice echoed through my brain, but I resisted bringing my hands up to my temples. I had enough common sense to know not to push it. I didn't want others to think that I was unstable or crazy.

"I'm just a little tired," I managed to breathe out; my vision, thankfully starting to straighten out and clear. Another girl with silver streaks in her hair reached out and grabbed my arm. "We'll help you get to your class, oppa. Where is it?"

Seeing that I couldn't get to my destination without attracting anymore attention, I wearily told them my room number. Slowly, they led me to my class, keeping up a steady stream of chatter that I did not want to partake in. It was making my head spin again, when they giggled about clothes and boys.

"Yeah, Jungwoo is hot, but Jungkookie oppa is hotter."

Oh, shut up, please. We all know Kim Jungwoo (a/n: it's true) is straighter than a bendable ruler. And me? Let's just say my ruler snapped a long time ago.

After a million years, we finally arrived at my classroom, which so happened to also be Taehyung's class as well.

I skipped a grade back in primary school, because of my academic genius, which led me to meeting Taehyung and everyone else.

Like a habit, I glanced at Taehyung, only to find him staring at the board, without any emotions on his face. I looked down, disappointed, and bid good-bye and thanks to the girls. I slid into my seat, grateful that the dizziness had gone down to a minimum.

It wasn't like I was avoiding the elder on purpose. It was just I couldn't look at him without remembering what he had said to Ms. Yoo. The memory still burns in my heart, sending shivers of sadness to run across my skin.

I had no right to feel like this, of course. It was all my fault to begin with.

It...was...all...my...

Why is the room getting dimmer?

Why won't my eyes work?

Why...

"Jungkook you idiot!"

My eyes fluttered open to find Taehyung crying, in a chair beside me. Without thinking, my hand reached forward and grasped his knee weakly, making him gasp, and look down at me through teary eyes.

"J-Jungkook?" He mumbled, taking both of his hands to envelope mine. Slowly, I sat up on, what I figured, was the bed inside the nurse's office. "What happened?" I asked wearily. The silver-haired boy gave me a weak glare. "You fainted in class, and I took you here. You were so light, Kookie, so light. Why haven't you been eating? All of your muscles are deflating. Why didn't you get any sleep?"

I blinked my eyes, in confusion. "I...fainted?"

Taehyung sighed, "yes, Jungkook, that's what I just said, pay attention."

The room was enveloped into a pressing silence. Filled with unanswered questions and doubts. I opened my mouth, but nothing seemed to come out, resulting in me closing it again. What was there to say?

Finally, the elder spoke.

"Why have you been avoiding me?" He asked quietly. I frowned, and thought of how I was going to answer the question.

"I...was there that day..." I began. "I was going to pick you up from your last class and...well...I think you can get the gist now."

Taehyung's eyes widened, as realization hit him like a steel truck. "Y-you h-heard?" He stuttered, eyes never leaving mine. I shook my head. "I heard. I honestly don't understand why I acted the way I did. It was immature of me and I apologi—"

I was interrupted, yet again from saying sorry, but this time it was in the form of a hug. Taehyung had thrown his arms around me, and nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck. "I'm so sorry, Kookie," he murmured into my skin. "I'm so sorry you had to witness that."

Sighing, I brought my hands up to circle around the latter's waist. I patted his back, and slid a hand into his hair. "I forgive you," I mumbled.

We didn't speak for a few moments, just enjoying the feeling of being held by each other.

"She was one of the loose ends, that I had to tie up," Taehyung suddenly spoke. I didn't break our embrace, but I tensed, listening closely to whatever he had to say.

"You know...I was a pretty messed up guy, while you were gone. I had many one-night stands and flings and Ms. Yoo happened to be one of them. I thought...maybe just one last night with her and she'll finally leave me alone." He tightened his hold on me. "I'm so sorry, Jungkook. It'll never happen again."

I chuckled, gently, and stroked his soft hair. "You don't have to promise me anything. It's not like we're dating." The elder stiffened at that, but relaxed just as quickly. "Right," he responded, face still buried into my neck. "We're not dating, but I'm still sorry that you had to witness that and felt too uncomfortable to talk to me."

Oh, Taehyung. If only you knew the real reason why I didn't want to talk to you.

I took a deep breath through my nose, catching a whiff of the latter's warm and intoxicating scent. How do I only keep falling deeper and deeper?

Suddenly, the sound of the bell ringing, interrupted our peaceful silence. "Well, looks like third period is over, now," Taehyung remarked, pulling away from me. I widened my eyes, "what? I slept for three hours?" The elder grinned, "yeah. But, at least I got to skip classes to stay here with you."

I raised an amused eyebrow, "glad to hear that I helped you miss classes."

"Oh! You're finally awake!" The nurse tittered, clomping into the room with her square heels. "Taehyung, you can head to your next class, while I check if Jungkook's well enough to leave." Taehyung crossed his arms and legs, in an arrogant pose. "I'm not leaving."

The nurse sighed, but only shrugged, indifferently.

"Fine, fine."

Aww, they finally made up :) But, I bet you guys are still frustrated that they haven't confessed yet.
