7:51 am
jimin heard his alarm obnoxiously go off, waking him up from his peaceful slumber. "shut up." he groans against his pillow as he reached for his phone, cringing at how loud it rang as he drew his phone closer to him, pressing stop immediately.
he looked at the time and sighed. maybe he could go for a morning run before school started or he could make himself breakfast. school didn't start 'til 9 am after all. maybe he might have time to do both.
sitting up, he lazily rubbed his eyes to get rid of any sleep left and stretched, letting out weird whale noises.
he chuckled at himself before finally getting out of bed and fixing it. as he was putting the last pillow to its place, a scent hit his nose. it smelled like...
"pancakes! jimin-ah! i made pancakes! get up!" jimin heard his roommate, jin yell from the kitchen. he also heard his tummy growl and he knew he needed to feed it. however, he'll eat later, he'll just go for a quick morning jog and come back to get ready for school.
walking up to his closet, he scanned his clothes. he decided on wearing his favourite pair of basketball shorts and a dri-fit shirt that hugged his body's curves in all the right places.
he was caught off guard by jin when he was about to walk into the kitchen and he suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "ah!" jimin jumped, "hyung, you scared me." jin let out a laugh, putting his hand over his chest. "of all the times i tried to scare you, this was all it took? unbelievable." the older shook his head, making his way to the table. "let's eat, i made breakfast." he beckoned the younger. "i'm going out for a jog, hyung. i'll be back soon." "alright, but make sure you eat something before going to school."
the pink-haired boy exited their shared house, breathing in the fresh, morning air. they lived just outside the city, in a quiet neighbourhood, and a road, quite the distance, that led to a tunnel.
he started to lightly jog along the pavement, listening to the tweeting of the birds so early in the morning, the sun slowly making its way, up, up, up in the sky, and the peaceful serenity of his surroundings.
jimin enjoyed days such as these because he barely has time for himself, as he knew he has to put his school work first before anything else. on one side it gave him really good grades, on the other it causes him so much stress, frustration and fatigue. he barely even has time to meet new people, let alone date anyone because of how busy he always seems to be.
he thought about his family back home, he misses them and his mom's home-cooked meals. although his older roommate, jin, makes home-cooked meals all the time and they're extremely delicious, jimin still missed his mom more than anyone else. he also missed his dog who's kept him company all his life, from when he was little until he moved out. god, he missed his dog more than anyone else, too. he also missed his dad's funny antics and questionable stories he would share at the dinner table when they were all eating together.
he missed home.
as jimin was pre-occupied with reminiscing his old life, he didn't realize that he'd been jogging along the trail that led to the tunnel. he was snapped out of his thoughts when he nearly tripped over a sign that's fallen on the ground.
"don't trespass or you're dead?" jimin read to himself. he looked around the area as he slowly started to feel uneasy. nonetheless, his curiosity was gnawing at him to just explore a little bit further and see what's inside the tunnel. deciding against it, he was about to turn his heel when he heard a twig snap and that's when he decided to run back where he came from.
hell nah i'm not dying, not today satan. only dumb bitches walk in the tunnel to explore and i ain't a dumb bitch. that's how they get killed in movies.
