Y/n's POV

I tap the table repeatedly, my heart pounding as I sat beside Shawn at the record studio. "Tia?" Shawn asks weakly, even more to worried that I was. It was about him. "Hm?" I respond, looking over at him. I couldn't see anything but fear in his big brown eyes. I opened my arms, and Shawn immediately hugged me, hiding his face in my neck. I hug him closer, tangling my fingers in his hair. "I got you, Shawn. I got you." I assure him, hugging him as tight as I could. "What am I gonna do, Tia? What if I run out of meds, or I forget to take them? What if they say I can't perform anymore? What if-" Shawn panics, and I cut him off. "Shawn, it's okay. Everything is gonna be fine. You'll get your medication when you need it. We can set an alarm on your phone so you'll remember to take them. Figure out when you'll need to fill your perscriptions, and where you'll be. We'll have it picked up when we get there. They won't dump you because of this condition. If you take your medicines you have nothing to worry about." I assure him, pulling away enough to look at Shawn. Shawn lets out a breath of relief, obviously needing the assurance. "Tia, we really need to talk. You never responded to me at the hospital." Shawn said, and I sigh, completely pulling away as I look away. "Shawn, we've been over this before... I'm sorry, but I just don't feel the same..." I sigh, unable to look at my best friend. "I-It's fine..." Shawn says, his voice cracking as he spoke. The door suddenly opens, and we look to see who it is. Andrew Gertler and Darcus Beese walk in, both of them carrying brief cases. What I'm shocked to see is Chandler walking in behind them. "Chandler?" Shawn asks, confused. "Hi, Shawn." Chandler says, not looking at or even acknowledging me. I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion, hurting swelling in my heart. I just kept my mouth shut. Did I do something...? I wondered, but I forced myself to push the thought away, just for now. The three new people in the room sat down, eyeing up Shawn and I. The two men with briefcases placed them in front of themselves, opening them and spreading the papers out on the table. "First order of business, going over Shawn's test results and how to handle them. Shawn?" Darcus says, and Shawn sits up straight. His eyes were full of fear and longing. "My results came back positive. I do have Hypoparathyroidism." Shawn states, clearing his throat afterwards. "Tia had some great ideas to keep the symptoms at bay. I set an alarm on my phone for the time I need to take my medications. We can even plan out when I need to get my persciptions filled and order them ahead of time. When we get to that location we'll send someone to pick them up." Shawn explains, and Darus and Andrew both nod. "Okay, good. You have that figured out. " Andrew says, flipping through some of his documents. He seems to find what he's looking, and scribbles something on it. Darus searches for something as well, and grabs it. "Next, Tia, I need you to sign this document for me." He says, grabbing a pen and handing them both to me. I grab them, and then begin to read it. It reads:

By signing this document Tia Destiny LaFoy shall agree to the following terms and conditions stated in this document. Tia's decisions can not be made on her own if they will change the course of her life, Chandler's life, or their relationship. She shall claim Violet Riggs, Chandler's biological daughter, as her own. She shall distance herself from all relationships with those who are not well known to the world, in which that includes family and friends from her past, and Tia shall also distance herself from those that do not support her image that Island Records creates. Tia's music will be written by herself and our songwriters. As a singer here Tia shall also become a model and an actress. Tia will have a stylist of her own, and said stylist will pick out all of Tia's clothes and shall do her make up everyday. The expiration date on this document is four years from the day that it is signed.

I stopped reading, pushing the papers away. "No. I do not agree to those terms and conditions. I do not sing, and I do not model. I did not come here for that. I am not going to let you control my clothes, my make up, my social life, or anything. I am my own person, and I am not going to be controlled by you." I stated, crossing my arms. "Then you are not allowed to see Chandler anymore." Darus states, and I glare at him. "I am requesting to see Chandler's contract with this company." I state, and Chandler finally speaks up. "I don't have a contract with them." Chandler states, staring straight through me. "Then this company can't control my relationship with Chandler." I fire back, and then they scoff. "Oh, please. All we have to do is leak a rumor to the press."
