~~Marinette's P.O.V~~

I plopped down on my bed, today's events still burning in my mind. I got up and put my ballet things in my closet, and put on jeans and a T-shirt. I swung my purse over my shoulder and walked downstairs.

My dad was in the bakery, cooking a cake for a customer. "I'm going on a walk!" I told him as I passed on my way to the door. "Be careful!" He yelled after me as I stepped onto the street.

I needed a walk to clear my head. Walking around Paris always cleared my mind. I set off down the street gazing at pedestrians and shops as I passed.

I walked for about ten minutes before hearing something in the distance that made me curious. I walked down an alley towards the main street where the noise was coming from.

I realized it sounded almost like howling, but that couldn't be. Wolves in Paris? The idea was laughable.

The noise got louder I turned the corner and what I saw amazed me. A crowd of people, laughing and howling flew past me.

They were wearing neon and dark colors, with faces splattered with paint.  As they passed me, I heard them yelling things like, "TO THE UNDERGROUND!" and "PARIS UNDERGROUND HERE WE COME!" Some did cartwheels and flips as they ran down the street.

I stood there still registering what I was seeing. A golden-haired boy dressed as some sort of cat slowed down as he saw me. He wolf whistled and flashed a troublemaker grin. I was not impressed.

As the crowd moved past me, I began to follow. It was probably a stupid thing to do, but these people fascinated me. I followed them through the streets of Paris.

Staying in their wake, I followed them till they seemed to stop at a street near the Eiffel Tower. It was a grimy street filled with trash bins.

The boy dressed as a cat who had whistled to me stepped to the front of the crowd. He went up to a sewer grate and lifted it up.

I watched them, very confused, from behind one of the trash bins. The boy flashed a grin at the crowd, then jumped into the hole where he had removed the grate.

I gasped. The crowd started jumping into the hole one by one, all laughing as they waited their turn.

I contemplated what to do. As the crowd disappeared they left an assortment of things behind them in the ally.

A bottle of spray paint rolled on the ground towards me. I picked it up and quickly read that it was safe to apply it to your face. I quickly uncapped it and sprayed my face.

I knew whatever these people were doing they were doing it not entirely within the law, and I didn't want to be caught.

There were only a few people still in line, so I quickly joined the cue. I got a few weird looks, being dressed normally, but no one spoke to me.

Soon it was my turn. I looked down into the hole, and to my surprise saw lights at the bottom. I stood there for a minute before the people in line behind me started to get restless. I sighed and threw cautiousness and trust to the wind, and jumped.

I felt a rush of free fall before landing on something bouncy. I realized I had landed on a trampoline. What the heck where these people doing down here?

I stepped off the trampoline and took in my surroundings. I was in a concrete room. It was completely deserted.

Crates lined the walls some I could tell were empty, while others were obviously full of something.

I realized it had been incredibly stupid to come here. Who knows what's down here? I obviously couldn't go back the way I came, so I needed to find an exit.
