Chat Noir is the king of the Paris Underground. Unbeaten in the ring, he dominates every dancer who challenges him. Adrien finds freedom in the rhythm and loves escaping his everyday life as a ballet prodigy at his dad's dance academy and fleeing to the Paris Underground.
Marinette is a clumsy dancer at the Agreste School of Ballet, where Hip Hop and Breakdancing are looked down upon and disapproved of. Marinette can never stand completely straight or keep her toes pointed, she's simply too clumsy. But she's determined to stay in the school because of her massive crush on the founder's son, Adrien. Little does she know everything's about to change when she accidentally finds herself in the Paris Underground.
