Over the next week, I spent a lot of time in the underground. I learned how it worked and functioned.
Yet every time I went back I was surprised. The Underground was constantly changing. It was more like a living thing than a place.
People went there because you could be whoever you wanted to be. I felt myself slowly falling in love with the Underground everytime I went.
Every day a group of Undergrounders ran through Paris to the Underground. I realized I hadn't seen them before because I had always been home later after they had already past, but the day I had discovered the Underground I had rushed home to avoid the whispers and nasty looks from Chloe about my fall.
When I visited the Underground I wore pink spray paint and my darkest cloths. I didn't want to stand out, but just be one of the faces in the crowd of hundreds.
I loved watching the dancers and how they moved. I watched dance battles and challenges, and the performances that sometimes happened.
On Friday, though, I didn't go to the underground. Instead, I went home and found a breakdancing video online.
After watching the dancers in the Underground, I felt inspired to try it myself. I thought I would be just as clumsy in breakdancing as I was in ballet, but I was surprised to find that after stumbling for about twenty minutes, I started to get the hang of it.
I loved how I could just express myself without worrying about anything else. Of course, I stuck to the basics, but I still felt like I had finally found something I was good at other than designing.
Over the weekend, I truly discovered breakdancing. I loved the earthshaking music, the flips, the way you could spin so fast the world turned to a blur. That's how my love of breakdancing started.
*PRESENT DAY...*

I applauded. Chat Noir had just finished dancing. "GIVE IT UP FOR CHAT NOIR!" Lady Wifi yelled into her microphone.
I was in the Underground, Chat Noir had just beaten a dancer named Dark Cupid. Lady Wifi jumped off the stage and the DJ started blasting music again.
I Walked over to an uncrowded area near the side of the stage. Lady Wifi made her way over to me. "That was a good one!" I nodded "Dark Cupid's bow is pretty cool."
Lady Wifi checked her phone "Hey, look at that! Today's the anniversary of when you first discovered the Underground!"
I looked at her "How do you know that???" "I marked it on my calendar!" I laughed, "Of course you did." She smiled at me, "You should probably start entering battles! Maybe make up a persona! You can't be "Pink" forever, you know."
I sighed, "I knnnoow. But I have no idea who I'd be!" "You'll figure it out, girl you always do." Lady Wifi assured me. "Anyway," I told her, "I better be off." "Cya later!" Lady Wifi yelled after me as I walked away towards the exit.
It was early to go home, but I wanted to work on my persona. Lady Wifi was right. For a whole year, I had gone into the Underground and was known as "Pink", because I used pink spray paint.
I never even took part in challenges of battles. But I had gotten better at dancing, a lot better if I do say so myself.
I had made a dance style unlike any I had ever seen in the underground. It used my ballet training and a yo-yo. You might think The yo-yo's strange, but in the Underground, it wasn't that far-fetched.
