We all enter the school after some brief introductions. The girl in the corner was Jem, anyways, we enter a large dining hall and people clap
"Step up to determine your element ladies!"
Someone says from a large table of smug, smart looking adults. All of the sudden it was like someone turned on a lightbulb, I knew what was going on
"Luna Nightingale" A lady in the middle calls.
And like me Luna knows what to do, she steps onto a podium in the back center of the dining hall and all the sudden, she floats, stars appear above her head, and clouds appear below her feet
"Dreams" People clap, obviously that's not common.
"Ariana Leif" The girl with strawberry blond hair walks towards it, and when she comes up, she floats too, a pool of water forms below her and trees grow around her, tawny wings burst out from her back.
"Water and Nature" They call again, more clapping
"Jem Heartstrong" Jem walks up and stands on the podium, darkness swirls around her and a dragon appears then disappears
"Darkness and..... Animals" Slight clapping, darkness must not be popular
"Amber Bluefire" She stands up and she floats and her wings burst out, but this time coated in flame, her ragged clothes change into a skirt and a top with flame licking them, even her boots have fire, she glows with light
"Flame and Light" I can tell they're surprised, because the smug expression has disappeared,
"Hazel Bluefire" They call and I step up to the podium, all the sudden, a boulder supports me and it starts to ice over and snow falls, next to me utter embarrassment, I change into a long flowy white dress and my hair becomes decorated with snow, I will admit, I gasp in alarm, Almost everyone laughs, even sweet looking Luna chuckles a bit, the only one not laughing is Amber, there for me at the most,
"Ice and stone" The person announces
I slink down the podium noticing that my hair is done back in a braid, muffin crumbs, I'll have to fix that later, "Well..." One of the people announced "We'll have dinner now"
And dinner plates form, and we go to empty seats, and I find a French onion soup, a glass of my favorite tea, mint, and a crème brulee for dessert, my ideal meal, I happily eat it all, the same women comes out and says
"Well ladies and gentleman, I'm glad that you're enjoying yourself, but curfew in elemental rivers is soon, so everyone go to bed, as for the new girls, your room circle is 597, it's located on the fifth floor, I think you'll be fine ladies, dinner dismissed."
We all streamed out of the dinner hall
