The week went by pretty well... Still with my class of advanced animals, it goes by breezily, until Saturday. The day of the ball, I stuff my face into my pillow, and Avi is snuggling beside me, she understands my pain, she's the best pet I could ask for, she's loyal and smart, and she understands why i'm feeling the way I do. I hear a knock at the door
"Come in..." I grumble as a happy looking Luna walks in the door.
"Guess what guess what guess what!?" She sings
"Erm... Nightmare sang a song" I say sarcastically, I don't mean to hurt her, but I'm in a bad mood. But she only laughs
"No, seriously, we're going to the nicest spa in all the dimensions!"
I blink in alarm as I unfurl my wings and dive bomb to the floor
"Say what?" I say
"I'm not going" She gives me the puppy eyes, which for her are the cutest thing you've ever seen in your life
"Please" She begs
"NO WAY!!" I say stubbornly
"Fine" She pouts "But at least have a nice refreshing cucumber sandwich, it'll make you feel better," I sigh, what else was there to do
"Fine" I grumble as she goes to fetch the sandwiches, she comes back with the whitest sandwiches you've ever seen, she hands one to me and I take a bite, they taste powdery, I feel all my senses go numb
there's sleeping powder on this! I try to say, but end up thinking about it, I feel her lift me up and laugh slightly
"You look adorable when you sleep" And then everything goes black.
