Chapter Three

I couldn't stop thinking about the girl. What was her name? What was she like? Did she really not have wings? Was she even a girl? Ugh, I need to sleep... but I can't stop thinking about her. Her long, brown hair, sunkissed skin- but I didn't get to see her eyes really well, but I think she had glasses? Maybe not. Still...

I fell asleep thinking about her. I decided to go to the club that night to see if I could see her. I went to work as usual, and when I got home took my normal nap. I still couldn't stop thinking about what would happen if I ever found my soulmate. I then realized that could never happen because everyone but me has wings. Still though, maybe I am right about that girl not having wings.

I look at the time to see its about time for me to go to the club to see if I can see the girl. I hopped on my bike and rode to the club where I had been last night. When I arrived, I locked my bike up and went inside. I sat down at a table and got a couple drinks. I kept an eye on the door to check and see if anybody came in. I listened to the music a while and watched people getting drunker by the second. To be honest, it was pretty funny, but sadly I didn't see the girl again. I sadly prepared to walk out the door when I saw her! I rushed over to say hello when she vanished. I looked around. She was nowhere to be seen... oh well. I left the door, feeling gloomy, and biked home. I then decided to text Laken about it.

Me: Hey Laken, you up buddy?

Laken: Yeah, whats up?

Me: I went to the club again, I think I saw the girl.

Laken: Did you talk to her?

Me: No, when I went over to say hello, she was mysteriously gone.

Laken: oh that sucks buddy...

Me: I'm gonna go over again next Saturday night.

Laken: I'll join you okay?

Me: Thanks buddy. That'll feel waaay less awkward!
