Chris POV

To be honest I've become really close to Jaye. She's like a best friend to me. I've been cool with Michael, that's my nigga right there. Nicole she's like a lil sister to me, but she gotta bad attitude. Right now we were chilling in the cafeteria, not worried about class.

"Nigga you ugly when you make that face "Jaye said to Michael

"Don't call my man ugly, my baby fione"

"Tell em again babe"

"My baby fione!!"

Yeah Nicole and Michael are going out now. Nicole constantly asks me to ask out Jaye. But I feel as if she will say no. I'm not good with rejection.

"Chris...? "

"wassup"

"Ain't your car coming back today"

"Yeah my momma and daddy just went and got it"

"So you down to go to this party"

"Nicole?.... What party"

"Nigga I don't know it's a party you coming or naw?"

"I guess"

It was 3:50 and we only had 5 mins left of School so we took it upon ourselves to leave school early. I was still riding home with Jaye.

"Jaye you going to that party"I said as she pulled up to my house

"Yeah, only because Nicole ask me every minute about it"

"Well..... ima see you then" I said as I got out the car

Jaye POV

After Chris got out the car I turned straight into my driveway. I really didn't wanna go in the house cause I really wanted time for myself. My dad still isn't home but we get on the phone everyday. You can say I like Chris well I like him alot. Everyday I feel as though Chris is gonna ask me out. But he doesn't. Sometimes I wanna ask him myself but.... I don't know. To me it's weird for a girl to ask out a dude. But if you really want something you ask for it.

I stepped out the car up to the door to unlock it. As I pushed open the door it was silent. I went upstairs and took a shower leaving my hair curly. It was only 6 now and the party don't start until 10 so I decided to go over Chris house and chill.

I walked over to his door and knocked on it but not to hard cause his momma was at the house.

"Hey Jaye"

"Hey mama Joyce, how you doing" I said as I walked inside

"Good... you here to see Chris or naw"

I looked at her and started laughing. I can't believe she said that.

"Mama Joyce, you did not just say or naw"

"Yess girl, I'm hip now"

"You really are Mama Joyce, ima head up upstairs to see Chris"

"Alright"

I ran up the stairs and busted open up the door "Wake yo punk ass up" I said jumping on his bed.

"Jayeeee"

"oooooo I like that Chris, say it again"

"You gay"

I don't understand how that's gay. But yet again niggas think EVERYTHING gay. Being gay not even a bad thing though....

"Whatever Chreztaphur"

"You know I don't like it when say my name like that, but anyways why you here?.. "

"Damnnn.... I can't spend time with Cheztaphur... " I said as I pushed of the bed. He looked me as soon as he hit the floor. I couldn't control myself I started laughing hard as fuck.

"That shit not funny" he said as he got up off the floor

"Mad or naw"

"Do you want me to beat yo ass or naw"

"Boy please.... "

"What You wearing to the party "

"probably my little black dress"

"Why it gotta be black, you ain't got any pink dress,it goes with your skin color"

I couldn't even control my facial expression. I couldn't do nothing but laugh.

"What's funny?"

"Nothing... but I'll see what I can do Chris. Thanks for the advice" I said as I pat him on the back

"So do you have a pink dress nigga? "

"Yeah"

"Jaye it's 9:37, you might wanna go and get ready"

"you right, you right... ima go head and leave out " I said as I kissed his cheek. Since me and him always kiss each other on the cheek,he didn't take it personal.

"Aight ima see you in Lil while"

As I walked across the street to my house. I started to have second thoughts about the party. I felt in my gut that something was gonna happen at the party. But I wanted to go still since I rarely go out. I just gotta keep my guard up.

Well..... I love this book I have alot In store for this book. In the next chapter ,obviously something is gonna happen lol. Just have faith in this book.
