As I entered, I immediately recognized the fresh smell of Mother's freshly baked chocolate chip cookies! Mmmm! It was my favorite ones. There is just something different about homemade cookies.

I saw Kai sitting at the table talking to uncle Kyungsoo. His back was turned to me.

"I just don't know, I want to spend time alone with her Mother but at the age she is, it has to be a boarding school!" Kai was saying.

Wait! He wanted me to go away to a boarding school, how could he? How mean of him to do that behind my back.

"Kai, I think..... oh! Na-young, when did you come back!" Uncle Kyungsoo said surprised.

Kai turned around and stood up, "Hello, how was your day, want one of your Mother's cookies?" He was worried because he knew I had heard his devilish plans to get rid of me.

"I've heard enough!" I replied through gritted teeth staring at Uncle Kyungsoo with hatred and headed to my room.

"Na-young, please come down and greet your Uncle, it's not like that, let's have a talk!" I heard Kai saying but my tears  were already clouding my vision and I was upset that Kai, was really who I thought he was, after I had made friends, he wanted to ruin it and make me start from square one again and boarding school.

Thats the worse school in the world and what goes on in a boarding school stays in a boarding school. My life was finally  coming to an end! I could see that deep lake and me standing at the edge of it and Kai too and Eomma! Wouldn't she save me? She doesn't want me in a boarding school? Does she? Wait until she hears...... unless she has!

"Na-young, can I come in!" I heard Uncle Kyungsoo's voice.

"No, go away!" I Exclaimed as he opened the door and walked in anyway.

My hair were in front of my face but he knew that I was sobbing.

"We don't want you to go to a boarding school. I just want to tell you that is not what Kai was trying to say." He sat by me.

"Really? Because I'd believe anything you say, don't tell me lies and don't tell me that Mother is fine with the idea because you two have obviously somehow convinced her if this...." I began in a harsh tone and raged filled voice.

"Watch your tone Na-young, just because you call him Uncle does not mean you can go on saying anything to him and about boarding school, right now, it seems a good idea!" Mother said.

What? I couldn't believe it! She wanted us to be a family and now Uncle Kyungsoo was important over me, her own daughter? And did she just scold me? What spell had Kai cast over her ..... that she had let herself go blind to what I was going through.

"Ha! So now, you're ready to send me away too. I though Kai was right! I had a really good day at school but you guys want to get rid of me and send me to a boarding school, guess what! I don't care....." I began but  then started crying because I couldn't stand that I'd hurt Mother again and I fell the the ground as Uncle Kyngsoo grabbed my shoulder to stop me from shaking so much.

"Na-young? Are you okay? Kai quick call the doctor?" Mother came  over and hugged me.

"Please, I'm sorry, don't hate me! I'll go to boarding school but don't hate me!" I sobbed hard into Mothers chest.

"It's okay, no one is sending you away, stop crying dear and how can I ever hate you? I'm your mother! I love you!" She replied.

Later that night.....

"I'll be talking my leave, I'm glad that you had a great day and thank you for the dinner, you're an amazing cook!" Uncle Kyungsoo replied as he left. We were on the kitchen counter and I had cooked a meal in our new home for the first time.
