Daughter's First Crush

Skyla and Aiden are now 13 years old and Iris is 5. I have noticed Skyla coming home lately acting all girly. Which is odd because she is usually tomboyish. I decided to confront Snotlout about it. "Sweetie, have you noticed anything different about Skyla?" i asked. "Different how?" He asked. "Well, personality wise. She seems more....girly." I said. "Girly? My daughter? Never." He said. Skyla came in and she was huming and giggling. "Hi mom. Hi dad." She said and kissed our cheeks. I looked at Snotlout with a face that said 'oh really?' He looked shocked. "Not only that but....Hiccup said she wasn't paying attention in class. Atleast not since Thronk saved her from that raging Rumblehorn.....OH! I know what's up with her!" I said. "What?"Snotlout said confused. "I think our daughter is experiencing her first crush!" I said. "I just hope it isn't  Thronk." I said. Thronk is as old as i am a little older. I saved him from a bunch of falling bolders and i guess he still thinks he owes me. "THERE IS A BOY?!" Snotlout said. I groaned. I sat him down and kissed his nose. "You stay here and i will talk to her." I said. I also told Nightshade not to let him leave the couch. I went up to Skyla's room. I saw her brushing her hair. "Hi mom." She said. I giggled. "So, who's the lucky boy?" I said. she froze. "Come on. you can't hide anything from me." I said. "Ok, maybe i like thronk, but i know it can't happen." She said. "I'm sorry sweetie. But like you said, it can't happen. Trust me when I say, first crushed go by fast."  I said. "Well, how would you know? You married your first crush!" she said. I blushed. "Actually, your father is my second crush." I said. Skyla perked up. " who was the first? " she asked. I giggled. "Another story for another day." I said. I tucked her in and kissed her goodnight. I then went down stairs.
