Tone Death

(Hiccup's pov)

Snotlout and I were doing our job to rescue dragon egg. Suddenly he started talking again. "I need you to put in a good word for me, not Astrid you can have her, Fish-face can have Heather, I am talking about (y/n)."He said. "Why, aren't you already dating?" I asked. "Yes, but she doesn't act like we are anymore." He said. "Well, I still don't think you are ready for my sister. She is strong, independent, kind, smart."I said. "I can fake kindness, i can fake independenceness, I can fake all those things." He said. "Everything except Smartness, Snotlout, Besides, there is a lot on her mind right now. She love dragons even more then I do,she was the who tried to convince me not to shoot down Toothless."I said. We managed to get the egg,  and tuff had Chicken lay on it. It then hatched.

(Your POV)

 The dragon inside was a Death Song. It started screaming. "Can some one shut that thing up!" Snotlout said. "It probably needs its mother." I said "I'll babysit him." I said. Snotlout went from mean to nice. Weird. I picked up the Death Song and started singing to it.

 There is no mountain, that I can't climb, for you i'd swim through the rivers a time. As you go your way and I go mine, our light will shine, and it will be me. When I finished the dragon fell asleep and stopped screaming. "Sis, where did that song come from it sounds so familiar." Hiccup said. "I remember hearing our mother sing it to us when we wouldn't go to sleep." I said. Hiccup smiled. We all decided to sing to it to help train it. The death song, also known as Garth, Treated me as its mother. I think Snotlout is jealous though. We decided he needed to go to the adult Death Song. When we got there the Death Song suprised us by shooting amber at us. The baby at first wasn't welcome cause he was singing ours songs. I realised that the Adult's song was my mom's song, so i started sing her song again and the baby sang with me. We broke loose of the amber and flew back. I again ha Hookfang and Nightshade slow down. I jumped onf Hookfang and hugged Snotlout from behind." What's wrong?" I asked. He started explaining how i wasn't loving him as much as I used to. "Snotlout i never stopped loving you, i love you more than anything. Never for get that." I said. I kissed his cheek and jumped off of Hookfang and on top Nightshade. We caught up with the others and flew back to the edge.
