Before you start reading my story, it is important for you to know that it's my first time writing a GirlxGirl story. And most importantly, I'm not very knowledgeable about lesbian relationships eventhough I have family members who are part of the community. Now, you might ask me, why I decided creating this story if I'm not familiar with the topic. The reason is I want to challenge myself to be a better writer. Also, I want to do something for my first ever female ship, which is Jenlisa.
This story is inspired by Hayley Kiyoko's song, Girls Like Girls. That's also where I got the title for this book. I also used the movie Love, Simon as reference for writing this story.
If you're a JenLisa shipper, I hope you will enjoy reading this. If you're a non-fan and happened to find this book (because it's under the #WattPride), you should be warn that Jennie and Lisa are not lesbian in real life.
Lastly, I would like to dedicate this story to my aunt and cousins who are not afraid of loving the girl of their dreams.
