It's already midnight and the party is still crazy. Guests are either drinking or dancing to the music. My introvert self suddenly feel the urge to go home so I decided to look for Lisa. I walk to the kitchen, in the garden and even on the second floor but there are no signs of Lisa. I pulled out my phone again to call her and then my phone beeps, a message from her pops.

From: Lalisa
12.32AM

I'll wait for you in the car.

I run down the stairs and goes straight out of the house. As I walk where I parked, I see Lisa sitting on my car hood. The light from her phone illuminates her face. She's smiling and I wonder what's on her phone making her smile that wide. She then lifts her phone and does a wink pose. Ah, she's taking a selfie and then she laughs at her own photo.

I find myself walking slower and then I'm stuck in one position staring at Lisa. I suddenly feel a lump in my throat. Just by looking at her makes me emotional. She's like the brigthest star in the sky. She feels so close yet so far beyond my reach. Lisa suddenly notice me and she smiles widely. I wave at her and continue walking toward her.

"Ready to go home?" I ask and she nods.

We get inside the car then I start the engine of my car and drive our way home. It's already been 10 minutes since we hit the road and the silence inside my car is so loud. None of us is talking again. Lisa then turns the radio on. She listens to songs for three seconds then changes the station if she doesn't feel it. She repeats the process for about five minutes until a song catches her attention.

The song is just starting, I can hear piano playing for the intro. The melody is familiar to me, until a woman with deep husky voice starts to sing.

Here, where the sky's falling
I'm covered in blue
I'm running and I'm crawling
Fighting for you

"Ohh. Dua Lipa." I say.

"I like this song. It's my current favorite." Lisa replied.

"I like it too." I say and we both hum to the song.

The red light then flashes and I hit the break. I wonder why we need to stop in this intersection when no one is actually crossing the street at this time. I suddenly hear Lisa singing the chorus. She sings with soft and low voice, almost whispering. I want to hear her voice so I look at her and starts singing with her. She then looks at me and we continue singing but with louder and more confident voice. We harmonize to every lyric just like Sonny and Cher.

Oh, I wish I was there with you

We sing together as we start another staring game. Lisa's stare is getting sadder and her eyes are almost teary. She then bite her lips and moves near me.

"J, do you want to sleep over?" Lisa whispers.

My cheeks starts to heat up, I'm sure it's red as tomato. I can feel horses running in my chest, it's about to explode anytime. My brain knows what to answer but my lips won't cooperate.

"I-" The only word that come out of my mouth and I choke. My cough is so loud and I'm almost out of breathe. Lisa then moves away from me with a poker face then diverts her eyes on the road.
