Hi readers!
As I have promised for the New Year, here are the trivias and easter eggs for Girls Like Girls.
The trivia are part of the story that I have kept for myself because I felt like including it on the story will make it longer and will not give the story that much thrill or excitement. Also most of these are just sub-plots which are not that essential to the story. So not mentioning it will not really ruin the main story.
As for the Easter eggs, there are only two. The Easter eggs are clues that I put on the story that will help the reader give a hint on what will happen to the story. However, I think not so many of the readers got them. So, I decided to share them as well.
Trivias:
• Tom really likes Jennie ever since high school. He asked Lisa to set her up to be Jennie's date on the prom because he is too shy to ask her.
• Jennie have a different ringtone for Lisa so she immediately know if it is Lisa who is calling.
• During Lisa and Jennie's staring game, Lisa was already thinking of telling Jennie about her recruitment on the Barcelona Ballet.
• Lisa broke up with James. It was a peaceful and mutual decision for the both of them. The kiss while Jennie was playing the piano was a good bye kiss.
• The reason why Lisa is smiling on her phone while waiting for Jennie in the car is not because she's taking selfies. She is looking at an old photo of her and Jennie. The photo of her 7th birthday she mentioned.
• When Lisa said she will take a shower, she actually did not do it and just shut herself inside her room and cry because she was anxious about telling the truth to Jennie.
• Jennie left Lisa's apartment after the kiss. She went to see Tom because he is the only one she can trust that night.
• Lisa went to Jennie's Barcelona concert.
Easter Eggs:
• Homesick by Dua Lipa
As we all know, homesick is the feeling of distress caused by being away from home. On Chapter 4: Then the rain finally falls, I chose to use this song to give a hint that Jennie and Lisa will soon be away from each other.
• The Chapter Titles
I used titles for every chapters. As you can see each titles correlate to the chapter's story. While if you will read the titles consecutively it will give the hint to what really happened to Jennie and Lisa.
