Jack Imagine - Snow Day

Yes, I'm aware that it's basically summer but who cares, I had no idea what to do 😂

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

My eyes flickered open slightly before I sighed and snuggled further into the warmth of the sheets.

Beep.

Beep.

Ughhh.

With a groan I reached over and clicked the snooze button before gently pulling the blankets off and sitting up.
I was about to climb out of the bed when I felt a familiar pair of arms wrap around my waist in an attempt to pull me back to my previous position.

"Good morning." I laughed lightly and looked back at the sleepy frown on his face.

"Stay." Jack mumbled simply.

"You know I can't, I have work." I smiled gently as he groaned, reluctantly letting me go.

Realising how late I was I hurried into the shower before getting ready for work, not paying attention to the world around me.

"Can't you go in late?" Jack asked in a tired voice, his eyes still closed as he remained buried in the sheets.

"No." I laughed and grabbed my bag, walking over to him and kissing him gently as he smiled.

"Love you." I grinned.

"Love you too." He replied truthfully before allowing me to leave. Almost.
Walking to the front door I pulled it open before jumping back at the pure white snow that fell through the door to my feet.
Looking up I noticed the street was completely covered in snow up to my ankles.

Buzz.

Pulling out my phone I found a text from my boss that caused me to grin.

Due to the severity of the weather, the company is currently closed. Enjoy the day off and stay safe.

Slamming the door shut I dropped my bag and sprinted back to the bedroom before launching myself onto the bed causing Jack to jump up.

"I thought you had work?" He asked in surprise.

"Snow day!" I grinned as he furrowed his eyebrows before looking out the window and laughing.

"Can we sleep more?" He asked as I rolled my eyes.

"Can we go for a walk?" I asked as he sighed and rolled his eyes playfully before jumping up and getting ready to go out.

"Y/N?" Jack raised his head and turned to look at me, only to realise I wasn't there.
Just as he turned towards me I stepped out from behind the tree and launched a snowball at him, narrowly missing his head and hitting his shoulder.

"What's that for?!" He asked, trying to hide his grin. I could barely open my mouth before he ran at me and picked me up, jumping into the large pile of snow and taking me with him.

"Jack!" I laughed and jumped up, trying to escape the cold.

"What do you want to watch?" He asked as we settled into the sofa with mugs of hot chocolate and a blanket.

"I don't mind." I shrugged and snuggled into his side as he clicked on a random movie and let it play, kissing my forehead gently as I smiled.

"I love you." He whispered into my hair.

"I love you too." I grinned.
