"Y/N? Are you ready to go?" I heard Brooklyn call from the kitchen.

"Yeah!" I replied quickly while grabbing my phone. Brook and I were heading out with the boys to a party not too far away and they all seemed pretty excited to go and have fun after the busy week they'd had in and out of the studio.
I walked into the kitchen and Brook looked at me, a grin finding its way into his face as he gently took my hand in his.

"Let's go!" Rye cheered with a grin, and raced Jack to the door, Mikey and Andy following behind while deep in conversation as Brook and I joined them outside, locking the door behind us before heading over to the party that was a few streets down.

We heard the party before we saw it, music blasting into the street and cars parked along the side of the road while colourful lights flashed in different directions and people crowded in and around the house.
Seeing the amount of people here now made me slightly nervous, I wasn't too fond of situations like this.
As if Brooklyn could read my thoughts, his hand gently squeezed mine as a gesture of reassurance. Looking up at him, I found him already looking back down at me, his eyes bright as he sent me a gentle smile to help calm my nerves.

"Hey!" We all looked up to see Harvey coming to greet us at the front door with a boy I didn't recognise, around the same age as Harvey.

"Hey, Harv!" Andy grinned as we all greeted him with a smile.

"This is Max." Harvey gestured to the boy beside him who grinned and held out a hand for each of us to shake.

"Enjoy the party, I should go check everything's running smoothly!" Max yelled over the music and hurried off with Harvey following behind.

"Do you want a drink?" I looked back at Brooklyn and nodded with a small smile as he wandered off in the direction of the kitchen leaving me with the boys.

"Come dance!" Mikey grinned and took my arm gently, pulling me to where Rye and Andy were jumping around with Jack whilst screaming song lyrics.
Laughing at their behaviour, I soon found myself joining in with the four and getting carried away. It felt like two minutes later I pulled out my phone to check the time and saw Brook had been gone for twenty minutes.

"Have you seen Brook?" I yelled to Jack over the music as he shook his head with a confused expression.
Nodding gently I pushed my way through the crowd and towards the room I guessed to be the kitchen.
Plastic cups and bottles were thrown on the floor and people crowded every room either dancing, talking or making out.
I continued my search for Brooklyn and it wasn't long until I found him.
Opening my mouth to call him, I slammed it shut when I noticed he was in the middle of a conversation.
The girl he was talking to was tall and slim, her wavy brown hair reaching her waist as she leaned against the counter next to him in a tight silver dress that barely reached her thighs.
They were laughing and joking, and I could've ignored the feelings I felt at that moment until I watched her raise her hand and place it on his upper arm, squeezing gently as she giggled.
I ran a hand through my hair, trying to ignore the burning jealousy I felt and glanced away but when I looked back I was met by a familiar pair of eyes as he dropped the plastic cups in his hands onto the desk, causing the brunette to spin around and look at me with a small smirk on her lips.
I cleared my throat quietly before deciding to turn around and leave the scene immediately, not wanting to see anymore. I mean, he hadn't done anything, I was just too jealous to see him like that with another girl, especially one who looked like a model.

"Hey, babe..." I heard a voice and spun around slightly to see a boy around a year older than me stumbling around in the hallway as he smirked at me.
Turning around, I was prepared to ignore the guy and leave when suddenly I felt a hand wrap around my wrist and pull me back, causing me to collide with someone's chest.

"Where are you going? I didn't even get your name!" He mumbled against my ear as I attempted to shove him off but failed completely. He may have been drunk, but he wasn't weak.

"Get off!" I snapped and continued with my pathetic attempts of escape when suddenly the grip on my wrist was lost and there was a thud on the wall behind me.

"She said get off." A familiar voice snarled as I looked up to see Brooklyn, his jaw clenched as he glared at the guy who held up his hands in surrender and stumbled off in a drunken mess.

"Brook, I.." I began my sentence, feeling the need to explain myself when he softly placed his hands on my waist and pulled me to him, placing a gentle kiss on my lips before burying his head in the crook of my neck and holding me in his embrace.

"I'm not letting you out of my sight again." He stated softly yet firmly, his words causing me to smile as I ignored the loud music surrounding us and pulled him closer.

"I don't have a problem with that." I replied, hearing him laugh lightly in my ear before he kissed my cheek and pulled away, wrapping his arm around my waist protectively as we returned to the area the other boys were dancing.

Thankfully, Brooklyn stayed true to his promise. He refused to let me leave his sight, wanting some form of contact at all times whether it was holding hands or just having his arm around me, which I found pretty cute if I may say so myself.
