soft nini.

"can you hurry the fuck up, pokpak?" jisoo whined down the phone. lisa pushed the cart along with one hand, while the other held her phone to her ear.
"unnie, you know it's like herding cats with jennie." she sighed.
jisoo groaned from the other line, "just grab the stuff and go. leave jennie if you have to."
there was a scuffling before a new voice came though, "lisa, for goodness' sake, i can't finish my baking and i freaking want it now!" chaeyoung cried. lisa rolled her eyes and came to a stop.
"look, guys, you gotta understand that this is jennie we're talking about. the girl who can be distracted at the drop of a unicorn plushie. did you not think this this through?" lisa said pointedly. there was a pause.
"we didn't think jennie would go with you." chaeyoung muttered. jisoo laughed loudly.
"come on, that girl jumps at the chance to be alone with lisa." jisoo's voice was muffled but clear through the phone.
"unnie, shush!" chaeyoung hissed. lisa could feel herself blushing as jisoo and chaeyoung fought over the phone.
"hand it over," jisoo's voice came through and lisa waited patiently, willing her cheeks to calm down. "anyway, just go as fast as you can. make sure jennie behaves and forget what i said earlier, you can't ditch her to get home faster." lisa hummed her agreement before hanging up, shaking her head.
you see, chaeyoung wanted to bake something while they were all still together at the dorm before they go back to their homes to celebrate seollal with their family. naturally, they didn't have all the ingredients, which of course means trip to the nearest store for food.
the plan was for lisa and chaeyoung to go but jennie commandeered lisa with a glare at chaeyoung and snatching the list from her hand, dragging lisa outside of their dorm room before anyone could protest.
-
so that leaves us with where we are now; lisa in a grocery, trying to find the ingredients chaeyoung needs with jennie running around, trying to find something to add into the cart subtly. all the while trying not to be recognized by the few customers actually there.
"jennie!" lisa hissed when she saw a blur of black hoodie and white shorts speed past the aisle. there was a squeaking as jennie's sneakers slid against the floor and lisa watched in amusement as jennie walked backwards to look at lisa with innocent wide eyes.
"yeah, lis?" she asked. lisa waved her over and jennie took big steps towards her, hands behind her back as she looked at lisa curiously.
"can you grab the icing sugar and the chocolate?" lisa asked. might as well make jennie work while she's running around. jennie adjusted the mask over her mouth and pulled her snapback low over her eyes. lisa watched her as she leant over the cart and tugged lisa's snapback low over her eyes as well.
"sure thing, lis. don't get spotted." she grinned brightly before scampering off down the aisle. lisa decided she could be trusted and started getting everything else on the list chaeyoung had given them.
-
lisa thought it was going to be fine. right up until she realized the last two things were what she had sent to jennie to get a half an hour ago. lisa sighed and began to make her way to the aisle she knows jennie got distracted in.
lisa rounded the corner and was faced with a scene she didn't expect. jennie was there, an entire gallon of milk ice cream was balancing on one hand, which was impressive enough considering how clumsy she was, surrounded by people.
