"Remind me why I let you talk me into this, again?"
"Because I promised I would be the one who would do the dishes during finals week. And you promised that we could take a class together at least once this semester, but since you're all enrolled in your photography and literature bullshit, I thought this could be a happy medium. Unless you wanted to come join me in dentistry school?" Chaeyoung playfully nudged her doe-eyed roommate, who just rolled her eyes in response while putting her long dirty blonde hair up in a messy ponytail.
"Oh, c'mon Lis! It's literally a dance class. Why are you acting like this is corporal punishment? It's twice a week for a month, that's it. It'll be fun! Two hours a week will not affect your life that drastically. Besides, my friend Jisoo said it's a really good workout too!" Lisa quirked an eyebrow at Chaeyoung at her enthusiasm, "Its not like you need it, Lis, but think of the benefits! You get to learn how to legitimately move that flat ass of yours."
"Hey! I can dance!"
"I know, I have gone clubbing with you before, damn. Relax. I'm just saying getting some actual training can't hurt. Maybe use it to seduce a special someone at some point." The obnoxious wink Chaeyoung sends her way is enough to make Lisa's face break into a grin and a laugh to bubble in her throat at her friend's antics.

"Alright, everyone! Can I get all of your attention, please?" The crowd gathered on the floor of the studio looks towards the sound of the voice. It belongs to a tall, muscular man with gelled back hair and some clean-cut scruff adorning his, admittedly attractive, face. The man motions towards himself, "My name is Collin. I will be your instructor for the remainder of this class. This," Collin looks towards the brunette standing next to him, who gives the class a dazzling smile, "is my partner Jisoo. Now, looking around I've noticed we have about an equal number of lads and gals in here today. So, in the spirit of making new friends, partner up with someone you don't know, and our first lesson today will be with partners! Go!"
Lisa turns swiftly to Chaeyoung, about to chew the girl's head off for making her go with a stranger when this class was supposed to be bonding time for them, but she's nowhere to be found. Instead, Lisa is left alone in the middle of the studio.
"Uh... excuse me? Collin?" The British instructor turns to Lisa, revealing a grinning Chaeyoung to be his partner, his eyebrow quirking in response to the girl's question. "Yes?"
"I... uh, don't have a partner." Just as the words escape her mouth, the door to the studio slams shut, a petite brunette rushing in. Her long hair a total mess, and her honey cheeks are flushed in adorable red from the running she had undoubtedly done in order to get to the class.
"I'm so, so sorry! My dog got out of my apartment and I had to chase him around my building and out onto the street in order to catch him, and then the taxi driver took the longest possible route to get here, and he wound up going to the wrong studio, and –" the girl took a deep breath, cutting off her own rambling. "Sorry."
The dozens of eyes on her did not go unnoticed by the flustered brunette, whose cheeks had now flushed an even deeper shade of red in her embarrassment.
Collin laughed, shaking his head at the new arrival, and stepped towards her. Slinging an arm around her shoulder, he leads the newcomer to the group.
"Not to worry about, love. We were just getting started. We've paired up, and your timing is actually impeccable considering we were just short one!"
No, Lisa thinks, big doll eyes widening at the thought of needing to dance with this stranger. Can I leave? Oh God, I'm gonna – "Great! Okay, head on over to Lisa right there and we can begin!" Fuck, Lisa closes her eyes and internally groans at her luck. It's not like she's opposed to dancing with another girl - quite the opposite actually. She's just never been good with new people, at least not when she's sober. Especially not cute, endearingly flustered brunettes with really mesmerizing feline eyes who are blinking back at her confusedly – wait, what?
