jennie's pov
"again girls, we need to get this choreo right!" kyle hanagami, our choreographer yelled through the dance studio.
today was only the third rehearsal so far for the our comeback album's title track; ddu-du-ddu-du. it was already exhausting and definitely drained all my energy, but it was also fun and exciting to be learning new routines for our new music, it's been a year of hiatus.
we had learned only 50% of the choreography so far, not lisa though, she's had it memorized ever since our first rehearsal. but with a few more weeks of practice we should have it all down.
we got back into our beginning places to run the song again. but halfway through, i felt my leg suddenly get sore and achy and it was painful as hell.
it hurt so bad that i literally collapsed in the spot where i had just been dancing because i didn't want to put any more pressure on it.
i heard everyone gasp in surprise as soon as i did so and stopped their movements. "oh my god, jen, are you okay?" i heard all of the girls asking me at once, as they rushed over and saw me trying to rub my thigh to hopefully ease the pain i felt.
i wasn't sure if i was okay. it felt like there was a tightness clamping my upper thigh and it ached really terribly. "i'm not sure, i think i might have pulled a muscle." i finally said through gritted teeth and shut eyes, explaining why i had suddenly dropped to the floor in pain.
"someone call an ambulance, quick!" our manager requested.
my eyes shot open at him saying that. "no! no, it's not that serious. i think i just need some ice or something and let the pain die down a little bit." he looked at me in a doubting manner. "i promise. it's fine." i assured them.
"i'll go back to the van with you." i heard lisa offer; now all of our eyes shot up and looked at her expectantly. "i mean, i'll walk you back to the van. i'm sure you can rehearse any longer today anyway. i mean you're in a lot of pain i bet." she rambled, which meant she was getting nervous.
"yeah, that would be great actually, thanks." i tried giving her a little smile through the aching I was still feeling.
lisa smiled back in return, and then they all helped me up from the ground.
once i was up, lisa put my arm around her shoulder and she put her other arm around my waist for support as we walked, well in my case, limped back to the van.
she helped me getting up and inside the van, and set me down on the seat that came right after the sliding door of it before she turned the air-conditioner and lights on.
"are you okay? you might've not tortured your ankle today but your leg," she teased and i couldn't help but laugh as well. "i should probably get you some pain killers so that the pain can somewhat subside a little bit." lisa said as she walked to the backseat where her bag was, she took two pills into her hand and a bottle of water she had.
she then sat down on the edge of the seat handing me the bottle of water and pills.
"thank you, lisa, be my nurse?" i joked before giving her the empty glass back and she set it back on the floor next to the couch.
"gladly, so where does it hurt?"
i brought my hands down to my upper thigh and rubbed the place where it was hurting. "right here,"
"right here?" she asked as she placed her hands in the same spot where mine were and began to massage the spot delicately making sure not to put much pressure on it.
i felt shivers ran down my spine and i could feel my face turn bright red at her sudden action and i could barely process it before i found myself nodding yes, that that was the spot where my thigh had been aching. after all, she was just massaging it slightly, wasn't she?
