"NOOOOOO!!!!!" Rey screamed.

Kylo drove the blade deeper in Han's chest, his eyes wandering over the shocked look of Hans face.

"Thank you." Kylo shakily whispered to Han. He turned the saber off, yanking the hilt back down to his side.

Han struggled to draw up a hand to Kylo's face, lightly allowing it to trace down the length of his scar - the scar that Rey had given him. The look on Han's face was solemn and almost forgiving as his hand slipped. His body swayed backwards, falling over the edge of the bridge and down into the red abyss of the oscillator.

Before Kylo had a chance to turn around, a loud roar echoed throughout the building and a blaster shot came flying from one of the upper levels.

Kylo had just enough time to suppress the severity of the blast with the Force, but not quickly enough. Had he not suppressed the blast, it was sure to have been fatal. For now, he was just badly wounded.

He grunted in pain, clutching at his side as he turned around.

Rey stood frozen at the end of the bridge, tears streaming down her face.

"I thought I told you to go back to the ship!" Kylo yelled at her.

As soon as he stepped off the bridge, one hand covering his wound - Rey flung herself at him.

"HOW COULD YOU? THAT WAS YOUR FATHER! HE LOVED YOU! HOW COULD YOU????" She wailed as she repeatedly beat on him with her fists, tears flying.

"I HAD NO CHOICE!" Kylo screamed back at her, struggling one handedly to stop the blows. He tried using the Force to freeze her but her anger was too great and she broke right through his Force grasp.

"OF COURSE YOU HAD A CHOICE! YOU COULD HAVE GONE HOME!!!! YOU COULD HAVE GONE HOME BEN!!!!!" Rey screamed.

"I HAD TO! I HAD TO!" Kylo raged, pushing Rey backwards towards the entrance of the building as another blaster shot whizzed past on his left.

"NO YOU DIDN'T!!!!" Rey continued to argue.

"I DID! BECAUSE OF SNOKE!"

"WHO CARES?" Rey said, taking another swipe at Kylo. She fell down to her knees in front of him, sobbing.

"I told you I loved you!" She cried, weeping into her hands

Kylo sighed and tried to pull her to her feet.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" She screamed. She stood again without his help. She glared daggers at him.

"I told you I loved you." She repeated, spitting the words at him vilely.

"I had no choice." Kylo said firmly. "I couldn't let you do it."

Rey blinked confused at him through her tears.

"What?" She hissed.

"The meeting with Snoke this morning. He said you had too much of the light side in you."

"So?" Rey said.

"Since the beginning, Snoke had told me that when the time came, I would be the one to kill my father. It had to be done."
