I nervously exhaled a breath. This was it, I was going to tell my best friend I liked/loved him.
Finn was the type of best friend that understood me in so many ways. He was weird, quirky and random. I loved it... and his smile.
My plan was to plant a note in his locker. Yes, like a secret admirer... Is it creepy? Maybe it is? He probably has a ton of love notes since most girls at this school are fans of him and send him love notes during class.
Okay scratch that plan. I'll just text the fool.

Meet me behind B block in 5 after you leave class? I have to tell you something.
I placed my books away in my locker and slammed it shut, suddenly my friend Ashley scared me.
"Hey, are you coming to mine after school for the party- Yeah, I just have to tell Finn... You know, tell him I like him." I explained to Ashley, she just nudged my arm and gave me heart eyes.
Then my phone vibrated.

Sure Knuckle head, you need a ride home?
I smiled at his text and placed my phone away.
"You two are perfect. I always thought you were just the female version of Finn. Anyway, my dads here, see you later at the party and good luck telling Finn!" Ashley spoke before running off down the hall way.
I smiled to myself and walked down the hallway towards B Block. My breathing became increased and I started hyperventilating,
"Calm down." I said in my head over and over again. I reached the end of the B Block hallway and made it outside.
I poked my head around the corner and saw Finn leaning against the B block building, he smiled at me and I started making my way towards him.
My heart pounded quickly as I stood in front of him. Gahhh he made me so nervous, and shaky.
"So, should I pick you before Ashley's party tonight?" Finn asked with a smile, I agreed and then decided to lean against the wall with him.
His eyes made contact with mine, his soft smile made me melt.
"Ugh, I wanted you to meet me here...because I have to tell you something that means a lot to me..." I explained then looked down, I felt as Finn grabbed my hand... I loved his comforting touch.
"Yeah okay, tell me." Finn responded with a smile. I gulped and exhaled a shaky breath.
"I-I like you, more than just a friend. I developed feelings for you when you were in ATL filming... Something clicked in my mind and I realised that you are who I want to be with." I explained smiling, Finn stayed quite and looked down.
I raised my brows.
"Finn?- Y/N I don't like you like that... But trust me when I say this, you're my best friend in the entire world and I love you... As a friend." Finn explained, my heart broke and I stepped back.
"I'm sorry. Ah, I better go." I mumbled with tears streaming down, before running off.
"Y/N?!" Finn yelled as I ran off into the distance.
