{Friday - School Hallway}

I walk over to Louise's locker and tell her to meet me where the guys are. She comes over and it's our Lunch table squad with Tyler, but no Evelyn.

"So do you guys wanna hang out together tonight?" Sam asked.

"Like where?" I ask.

"Well, there's this new indoor amusement park. It's only about forty-five minutes away," Luke said.

We all liked that idea. We all smiled and nodded our heads yes to go.

"Alright, So I can take four people in my car. What time are we going?" I said.

"I say we hit it around 5:15, get there around 6:00 and then eat dinner there or on the way. And stay however long we want," Tyler says.

"Sounds lit, see y'all later," I said parting ways with Louise as the bell rings.

{Social Studies}

It's a lot nicer without Alexa sitting next to me. I finally get to tune in and pay attention at the beginning of class and not shortly after because we were talking.

I look over at Jake. He's deeply into writing on his notes. He doesn't look up, but I still smile.

{Lunch}

I invited Tyler to come back and sit at our lunch table again. He comes by and sits next to me. I'm between Tyler and Jake.

"So should we meet somewhere and then take off to the park in separate cars?" I ask the table. "We can meet at my place, it's only for a couple minutes anyway."

"Okay, that's cool. Everyone meet up at Kara's house and we will boogie from there," Jake clarifies.

We all agree and continue to eat. Then as I finished up, I put my hands in my pocket. Jake seems to notice and pulls my hand out of the pocket closest to him. He takes my hand and holds it.

"Sorry, I didn't hold it yesterday," he whispers.

"It's okay," I blushed.

We looked up at each other and smiled.

{After School}

I get home from school bringing Louise with me. She let her brother take her car from school. We changed for the park into comfy clothes, I let her borrow some of my clothes.

We went downstairs and grabbed something to eat- Nutella and Pretzels.

Then as 5:00 hit, cars were pulling into my driveway. We get up and there were the guys and my parents in one car mixed in with them.

We walk outside and walk to my parents car which has now pulled into the garage. They get out with a shocked look on their face.

"They're here for like fifteen minutes," I said trying to calm them down.

"Why?" My dad asks.

"We are going to the new indoor amusement park and we are all carpooling, but we needed to meet up so we can all leave at the same time."

"Oh okay, have fun," my dad says, even thought my mom still has an angry look. She doesn't like the guys, I don't know why. They've been my best friends for four years.
