I sat with her in the same room at 7

I watched her walk past the hallway when we were 12

I often see her face against the current of school kids wearing different uniforms at 14

Many times had I seen her too close, but never too close to speak

We knew the familiarity of our faces with one another

But only when we were 16 had our first conversation together

And 17 we became friends, finally knowing each other deeply

18 when I discovered that some friends really turn into lovers

For all the coming years, I would want to stay like that with her, forever.
