as the night slipped from my grasp
it took with it my happiness
day slowly awakened
and memories once vague
started to materialise
a man cursing himself
dwelt my mind
in search of a forgotten warrior
and a time where reality
didn't showcase its cruelty so vividly
he searched for a time
where birds didn't mock him
and old souls didn't laugh like hyenas
behind his back
ultimately he discovered a woman
with poisonous lips
a siren with a kitana for a tongue
the voyage led him to broken laugh
and an inevitable demise...
