I am not a man
That foolishly falls in love
But for you , Lauren Owens,
I shall fall
Only to ignorantly rise.
Your eyes , Lauren Owens,
Illuminates the night
When my shadows overpower me
and my fears come to life,
but I always wonder
what truth does your eyes conceal?
Your laughter , Lauren Owens,
Returned obviated joy to my heart
When depression slowly crept in,
But I always wonder
what sorrow does your smile cover-up
Your body , Lauren Owens,
No gods would dare deny
Is not of earthly standard
And has overcome whatever hell
Time threw it in,
But I always wonder
What pain did your body endure?
Your beauty , Lauren Owens,
Reminds me of raging oceans,
Dangerous and mysterious
Luring me into uncharted waters,
But I always wonder
What monsters lurk beneath the surface?
I am a man
That foolishly fell in love
With you , Lauren Owens,
And I have risen
Only to ignorantly fall once more...
