Ignorant By Default

Wrecked

Her glaring eyes

Penetrated my body

And pillaged my soul

As her lips plundered

The pillars of my self-control.

Bewitched,

I plunged into the darkness

Within her heart and

Raged war against

waves of past emotions

And as memories

Relentlessly surged towards me,

It laid waste to

Already dilapidated defenses.

Absorbed by blinding ignorance,

I forsook reality

And plummeted into an illusion

Where she reigned supreme
