It was Sunday and Hayley still felt the after effects of the party. She had spent yesterday trying to explain to Alexis why she couldn't keep the car. Of course she had understood that but needed some time to come to terms with it. So her daughter had called Vince and told him to pick her up because she couldn't stand staying in a house that reminded her of her car. She had said she needed to be away until JR had returned the car. And when Hayley had told JR to do so, he had claimed it was the weekend and people don't work on weekends so she should wait till Monday. And now she had to roam around the house and trying to come up with ways to make it up to her daughter. Anyone would be mad if they were told they couldn't keep a car. Fucking moron. She said referring to JR.

"Halebells?"

"Shree? Why are you here?" Hayley asked her friend. It was Sunday which means she wasn't here on business. Not that they did any. All they did was waste time and burn Jim's money since he was the one paying her. Shree would show up and they would catch up or laugh or watch movies and do crazy stuff. Hayley wondered how Jim had found her friend and if he knew they hadn't even started with the 'wedding plans'.

"Well I told myself that you must be bored and being your best friend what should I do to make you happy?"

"Ship me off to the Himalayas?"

"No silly. Ta da!" Shree replied jumping up and down holding a cigarette.

"You brought me a cigarette?"

"Oh my God Halebells. Not a cigarette but a joint. Let's get high and destroy shit"

"Did I hear someone say joint?" Jazz walked in speed walking towards them.

"Were you eavesdropping?" It was like Jazz had supernatural hearing. The moment someone mentioned parties, or alcohol or joints she would magically appear in front of them.

"Oh no. Just passing when I heard you guys. Ooh are we getting high? I'll go find a lighter" She said then disappeared to the kitchen.

"Shree really? You know how she gets."

"Pfft. Don't worry. Today is your day to relax and not worry about anything. Let's go to the garden"

An hour later all three of them were high with a bottle of tequila in front of them. Apparently in her search for a lighter Jasmine thought tequila would go well with a smoke. Hayley couldn't remember the last time she had smoked weed in her adult life. Shree used to come over to her house with such things when they were in highschool. One time her dad found them passed out in her room and he'd blasted the radio the next day just to teach them a lesson. If they didn't want to wake up with hangovers then they shouldn't drink so much alcohol. Sitting at the garden with Jazz and Shree Hayley started to cry.

"Why are you crying?" Jazz asked wobbly

"I just remembered my dad and I-I miss him so much"

"Aww I miss him too. He was the best dad ever. "Shree sighed next to her.

"Are you guys drunk?" JR asked. He had wondered why the house was so quiet and decided he was either alone or they were up to something.

"James" Hayley squealed standing up too quickly and throwing herself at him. She knocked him back a couple paces but he caught them both and steadied them before they tumbled down.

"Definitely drunk." he murmured looking down at her.

"You're so handsome." she said caressing his face.

"What did you take?"

"Do you think I'm pretty?" she asked him

"Yeah I think you're pretty. What did you guys take anyway?" Jim asked but no one answered him. Instead Jasmine and Shree just giggled.
