JR walked in with a spring in his step. Today was a new day and a that meant a day closer to his wedding day. He'd told Jim that he was going to marry Hayley but on his terms. Shocked, his father had been speechless. That's why he'd set the date so early, to avoid his old man from trying to change anything or coming up with ridiculous ideas. Jim was flamboyant in nature. He never did things on a small scale and JR didn't want to scare away Hayley with a thousand guests in attendance. So he forbade his father from doing anything. He was to only care about his tuxedo and nothing else. A week wasn't enough to plan a wedding though but Shree was a successful business woman which meant that since she had first arrived she'd taken notes and made a few plans behind Hayley's back. Jim was paying her a lot of money to organize a wedding and she wasn't going to listen to what Hayley told her. In that aspect JR admired her. She took her business seriously even when she was high which said something about her.

"Why are you so happy?"

"Does my face convey any feelings related to happiness?"

Nick looked at him and decided that to the people who didn't know his friend, they would think he was his normal self. But his eyes were shining with happiness. "No your face is still as ugly and serious as ever"

"You're just jealous of me because your life is miserable" JR told him

"That's where you're wrong my friend. My life is just fine. But I don't need to prove it to you JR. Now let's get down to business"

"What business?"

"Your bachelor party. I've already found the perfect place and arranged everything. All you have to do is show up"

"Guest list?" he asked not liking Nick's tone.

"Old friends and a few business partners"

"What old friends?"

"Just some people we haven't talked to in a while." Nick shrugged but JR knew him. He was hiding something.

"Nick if you invited Grant, I will kill you" JR seethed knowing his friend.

"Why would I invite him?"

"I don't know but you have your 'I'm. up to something' face. I swear to God Nick"

"Why can't you let it go? It was high school man"

"I hope you value your life because if I see that son of a bitch I will kill him first then you"

"I thought you loved Hayley?"

"I do love Hayley. But I will still kill you both"

"Fine." Nick grumbled mentally preparing his armor. JR was going to kill him alright but he wasn't going to rescind his invite to Grant. They had been best friends in high school. Together with Vince they were the most popular kids who were filthy rich and incredibly hot as well. All girls had wanted them while all the boys wanted to be them or join their group. Back then they'd felt invisible like most high schoolers felt when they were popular. Until Grant stole JR's girlfriend Alyssa. Granted he had every reason to be mad and end his friendship with the guy but that was ages ago. JR should be over it especially since he loved someone else now. But clearly he wasn't and he had a few hours to prepare himself for serious bodily harm. He sighed. The things I do for you JR.

"What's that?" Hayley asked Shree who was holding a white bag.

"Your dress. Let's go you have to try it on" taking her hand he dragged her to her bedroom.
