Rainy day makes it hard for me to get up and stay out my comfortable warm bed.
*ding*
A notification sound from my phone. I opened my eyes and sigh. I grabbed my phone on the left table by my bed and unlocked it.

Hey Lex, wanna grab a sandwich before sparring today?
I locked my phone and put it back on the table. I pull my sheets to cover my entire body and close my eyes again trying to content myself with this peaceful solitude for a little while before I start my lazy Saturday.
My day always start with making up my bed, brushing my teeth, washing my face, and coffee. I must have coffee in the morning for me to get my day started.
The smell of coffee spreading through my apartment usually start to fuel and wake my soul. But when I'm about to make my morning coffee, I realized that I ran out of coffee. I forgot to buy some yesterday.
"Shit." I mumbled to myself.
I changed my clothes, grab my keys, phone and wallet then hurried down to the parking lot, to my car and drove to a nearest cafe.
Surprisingly the place doesn't seem very crowded like the weekdays morning when I occasionally drop by for coffee before work. I checked my phone and it was 12:36 PM on a rainy Saturday noon. That made sense why it wasn't crowded.
The coffee shop has that comfortable little setting with a soft and jazzy music playing in the background.
"Hey Lex." said the young bartender.
"Hey Jake. Can i get the usual please."
"Sure, but we ran out of bagels, wanna try something else?"
"I'll just take the croissants then." I pull out some money from my wallet and give it to Jake. "I will be at my table."
"Yes, of course. Thank you."
A few moments later, Jake came with my coffee and croissants.
"Thank you Jake."
"No problem."
I checked my phone and it was 12:48 pm. I took a sip of my coffee. I feel like i'm forgetting something. Oh shit, i forgot to reply Becca's text.

Hey Becs, sorry I can't make it. I just woke up. See you at sparring tho.
I put my phone down and enjoyed my breakfast. Basketball sparring isn't for another 2 hours or so.
The rain won't stop pouring. I ordered a hot chocolate for the road. I checked my phone again and it was 1:30 PM.
I got out of the cafe, opened my umbrella as I was making quick steps through the parking lot to my car. As i was watching my steps
BAM
I crashed into someone. My hot cocoa splatter everywhere. Damn it. How unlucky am i today.
"Oh God. I am so sorry. I didn't see you there." I said.
That person opened the hood of her pink rain coat. It was a lady with a long blonde hair and a set of blue eyes. She looked very shocked and nervous.
"Yes I am sorry too, I didn't see you coming as well. And i wasted your hot chocolate." she leave a half smile on her beautiful nervous and sorry face.
"Yeah that's okay. Are you okay?"
"Yes i am okay."
"Okay." I smiled as a sign of goodbye. She did the same. I hurried back to my car and sat there trying to sink what the hell just happened as i watched that lady went into the cafe.
How weird was that huh. I said to myself.
I shook my head trying to get that awkward encounter out of my head. I turn on the engine of my car and drove to the nearest grocery store to buy some groceries and went straight home.
It was 2:30 PM when i arrived at my apartment. I prepared myself for today's sparring and went to the arena to play some basketball, have some fun and maybe it will get my mind off that lady i crashed into.
