"You're watching Pitch Perfect 3 again?" Abby laughed at the end of the phone.
"Hey, everybody got their own guilty pleasure." I said as I grinned. "Like your obsession with cheesy romantic comedy." I continued watching Pitch Perfect 3 with some chips and a bottle of Gatorade. I have lost count on how many times I have watched this movie.
"True that." She said and she laughed. "So, big day today huh?"
"Yeah, to be honest, I'm kinda nervous."
"Don't be, you'll do great."
"Thank you for always having confident in me."
"Why wouldn't I be?" She chuckled. "You are amazing."
I blushed and let a small laugh out. "Now you are making me blush." I smiled. "You are pretty amazing too Abs." I said sincerely.
"Pretty amazing? I think I am very amazing." She said jokingly.
"You know I am very attracted to a confident woman." I grinned.
"Oh honey, I know all about that." She said with a tease as I chuckled. 'God, she is making me crazy by thinking about her all the time.'
I putted on my outfit for today, black shirt, ripped jeans and leather jacket. I topped it off with my boots. I got into my Rover and drove to the address Raina gave me last week for a house meeting. The point of a house meeting is that I can get to know the client, or what are they into, so when I paint for them, it will be the right fit.
I parked in front of a minimalistic mono house's driveway. A white BMW X5 is parked in front of the garage door. I got out of my car and went to the front door to rang the bell.
A familiar alluring grin greeted me as Raina opened the door and welcomed me in.
"So this is the client's house?"
"Oui" She led me to the master's bedroom where there is a very open space on the wall for a very big painting. "I shall hang the painting there." As she pointed to that very open space on the wall.
"You?" I asked in confusion because she's the one hanging it on the wall.
"Oui. This is my house." She said with a very alluring grin.
"Oh this is your house?"
"Oui. Are you up for the job?" She asked.
"Sure, why not?" I grinned. "when is the deadline?"
"Around 6 months, but if it take more than 6 months, it's okay, no rush. Just do your thing, I know true art can take time sometimes. I trust you."
"Really?" I asked
"Oui." I froze as our eyes locked. Her beautiful gray alluring eyes inviting me to get to know every inch of her body and soul, hypnotizing me. She came closer and i took a breath of her sweet scent. She bit her lip a little and smiled. That damn alluring smile, I cleared my throat and looked away.
"Do you want a drink?" She said as she took a step back.
"Sure." She led me to the kitchen as I thought to myself what the hell was that?
She grabbed a pack of beer and we sat in her backyard as we drank our beer.
"you okay?" Raina asked, her eyes fulled with concerns.
"Yes, sure, why wouldnt i be?" I looked at her and looked away because i don't want her to hipnotize me again.
"you know, if you have any concerns about the painting you can just talk about it with me right?" I can see from the corner of my eye that she is still looking at me
"sure, i know that. Thanks." I smiled to convince her that I do am fine.
Raina closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "don't you love life?" She took a big gulp of her beer. I smiled as I looked at how she love her life.
"Do you?"
She grinned and locked eyes with me again. "What's not to love Alexandra?" she said "What's not to love?" she said it once more with a softer tone.
