I was sitting in the living room with Agnus, one of the witches, as I was waiting for Hayley to come back from speaking to Klaus, regarding Elijah's return.
"I told you Agnus." I said flipping through a magazine, "I feel fine."
"You're overdue for a check-up," She told me as Hayley walked back in and sat next to me
"so what am i going to do about that?" I said as i tossed what I was reading onto the coffee table
"Seriously Agnus, is she supposed to pop into the Quarter for a ultrasound? A pregnant witch escorted by another witch, and a wolf? Sounds brilliant."
"A lot of women would kill to have a child, Strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours," Rebekah said as she typed on the laptop
"I know a doctor out in the Bayou, off the beaten path." Agnus said, "I took the liberty of making an appointment for you. Tonight, after hours, just us. Vampires will never get a word of it."
I looked to Hayley and she mouthed 'NO' and then i looked back at Agnus. I want to know my babies are alright.

"Okay, fine. Bayou doctor it is."

the sun had already set and the stars were out, the moon lighting up the sky. We were sitting in Agnus' car driving up to a dingy-looking house in the middle of the woods.
"This is the doctor's office?" I asked, untrusting
"Dr. Paige is this only far out because Marcel's men kept terrorizing her patients. Go, she won't bite."
I hesitated. Looking to Hayley for reassurance.
"I'll be here with you. Don't worry." She told me grabbing my hand and taking me inside.
When we walked in I saw a woman a little older than me.
"Marie Andrews, so wonderful to meet you."
"Nice to meet you Dr. Paige" I said smiling as I held my hand for her to shake
"Now if you will just hop onto the bed and I'll begin your ultrasound. Agnes said you were having twins correct?" Dr. Paige asked me as i sat down on the bed to lay down, Hayley sat on the floor next to me
"Yes" I said smiling as Dr. Paige lifted my shirt up to rub the gel on my belly.
Right away i heard two strong heart beats in sync with each other. I looked to the screen next to me and I saw my babies.
"little blips" I say breathlessly, "Blips." I say smiling
"There are your babies. Strongest heart beat I've ever heard, their heartbeats are in sync with each other. That's beautiful." Dr. Paige said to me as my eyes began to water.
