Sinner and Saints

The next morning I wake up and Hayley was still fast asleep. Not wanting to wake her up, I made my way downstairs to the kitchen quietly.

As I entered the Kitchen I saw Rebekah downstairs looking at me surprised.

"Hey, I was just about to go out to bring you breakfast."

"Oh no need," I said to the Original, "I can make myself some" I said smiling

I walked over to the fridge to pull out some eggs when Rebekah stopped me, "No, I will make you some food, you're carrying my magical nieces it's the least I can do for you."

Rebekah smiled at me and I laughed

"I enjoy this." I tell her smiling, "I think we'll get along just fine"

I got a water bottle from the fridge and sat at the table in the kitchen. It was quiet until Klaus walked in with Sophie.

"You can't go out there now," Sophie told Klaus as he was walking away from her, as he now stood next to me, touching my shoulder. "I need to gather the witches' remains and consecrate them. If I don't get to them before sundown, we lose the link to their magic."

"Those witches tried to kill Marie," Klaus said angrily squeezing my shoulder a little too rough, "I'd prefer for Marcel's informant not to find anything that would lead him back to us, to her, or...you know..." Klaus referenced to my stomach

"The twins?" I said to Klaus, glaring at him, "You are all class."

"Stay put and save the rest of your story until I return," Klaus said to Sophie before leaving, Hayley ran into him on his way out without saying anything to her but grunting.

Despite what Klaus said, Sophie left the house and went to Lafayette cemetery, Hayley and I followed her and she put some sort of potion in her bag.

"What's that?" I asked

Sophie turned around, shocked to see us, "What are you doing here?"

"Following you" Hayley said, "we don't trust you."

I pushed my friend behind me, "What she means to say," I glare at Hayley and turn back to Sophie smiling, "You're going out to the Bayou and we want to go with you"

"No thanks. Already got assaulted by Klaus this morning, don't need a repeat."

Sophie tried leaving but Hayley blocked her path. "What if whatever is responsible for all those dead witches is still out there? We've already established it likes Marie and hates witches. So you're safer with us"

"Sorry if I'm not buying your sudden concern for my safety," Sophie said, trying to get Hayley out of her way but instead i pulled her arm roughly.

"Listen here Sophie, The only reason we came to this stupid town was to learn more about Hayley's family. Your sister was the one that told us that Marcel ran the werewolves out to the Quarter into the Bayou and last night, I'm pretty sure some guardian angel wolf saved my life. Besides, Hayley has family somewhere out there so we're coming with you. I also need to make sure you're not killed, my life it tied to yours and i want my girls to at least take one breath"

"Could you three be more idiotic?" Hayley and I turned slowly to see Rebekah

"Three can play the follow game, you know?" Rebekah said looking at me with her hands on her hips

she knew the only reason Hayley was here was to protect me, especially after last night.

"You heard Klaus, he and Marcel are heading right where you're going."
