Chapter 8
I'm so shocked, I really don't know how to reply, I really want to, but what am I meant to do about River? I don't know, maybe if I ask the Doctor if I can meet River first, then maybe he will let me as she is my sister, and they are married! I don't know, I really really want to, but I don't think I'm good enough.
''Really what? For real? I don't think I can though. I'm not special enough'' I said, because that is exactly how I feel. That I'm not special enough. He came in and stood right in front of me, looking into my eyes.
''You are special Harriet! To me and a million other people. Harriet, I told you a year ago that I never wanted you to say anything like that! You promised me! Harriet, you really need to start believe in yourself more!'' He said, looking deeper and deeper in my eyes.
Tears started to roll down my checks, and then for some reason, I couldn't stop crying. The doctor sat me down on the sofa, and sat next to me, where there he grabbed my head, and put it on his shoulder, while he combed through my hair, with his soft fingers. I was still crying, and he looked like he was going to as well.
''Doctor?'' I said, lifting up my head, and turning to face him,
''Harriet?''He said, turning to face me,
''Really really do you want me to travel with you?'' I asked, because I wasen't really sure whether he wanted me too.
''More sure than I have ever been sure of!'' He said, smiling.
''Well ok then, I'll try it, but I need to meet someone first! I don't want to miss her!'' I replied, feeling quite happy, because of the adventure waiting for me.
''We have a time machine! I can drop you back there anytime! Who is it anyway?'' He asked, with a curious face, that I have never seen him do before.
''River Song my sister'' I said shyly, because I knew he was married to her, and would want to meet her too, but I don't want them to meet in-front of me, because, well. It don't matter!
''Oh yes, she told me that she wanted to see you, so I'll leave you too it, I'll be here about two to pick you up? OK?'' He asked, smiling in that reassuring smile. ''Bye Williams!'' He said, getting up and walking out of the house.
I heard the tardis door creak, and then the roars, and as I peered out the window the TARDIS was gone. I knew he was coming back though. So I felt so much better!

I got up to get ready, putting on my skinny jeans, black converse and my new MTV jumper, that I recently ordered of a site of the web. I went downstairs, to get a my purse and bag. Turned the TV of, and locked all the windows. I know Leadworth's a small town, but I always feel a bit paranoid. I sipped a bit more orange juice before getting the keys, and walking out of the house. Closing the door behind me.
I was so nervous, I didn't know what to expect. How will she be round me? Will she likes me? There's loads of questions running through my head. I caught the bus, sitting in the back corner, gazing out the window. The 1000 questions still running through my head, making the head ace worse. As the bus started to move, I felt butterflies in my belly, and I felt sick. Not literally sick, but worried sick.
I got of the bus, and walked through town, where then I went to Starbucks and picked got a coffee, because I was still very tired. I took a long slow walk through town because it was only half twelve, and I had to meet her a forty five past. I know that sounds stupid, but the library is like 2 minutes away from here.
I went into Boots, and looked around for some tablets for head-ace's, I brought some aspirin, and took them, drinking my coffee after. Then decided it was time for me to walk down the library. I started walking closer and closer, and saw a figure of a female standing on the steps, with big curly mousy blond hair. As I started to walk to her, she started smiling. She was obviously River.
''Hello'' She said, smiling at me,
''Hi'' I replied shyly.
''No need to be shy sweetie, I know this is weird, because we never met each other before, but I want you to realise that isen't my fault. I was in prison, and they tightened up the security, I haven't even seen the doctor for ages either, I can only get out when he comes with his sonic screwdriver. In fact, I really need to ask him for one.'' She smiled.
How was she in prison? Why I never got told she was in prison? Maybe I should ask, maybe I shouldn't, I don't know. I don't want to be rude. I'm still nervous, even though were now walking from the library to the nearest restaurant, what is a little cafe not for from here.
''Oh OK, and it is just a wee bit weird. If you don't mind me asking, why was you in prison?'' I replied, worried at what the reply would be.
''Long story sweetie, i'll tell you when were in the cafe.'' She said, as we started walking slowly towards it/
