Author's Note: Yes, I'm making some changes to this story because apparently, I can't write it how I want. I'm getting to many comments about it so I decided to finally make some changes to make it better. Enjoy the story.
You and your friends were hanging out just as usual. Sonic was taking a nap, Amy was painting, Knuckles was lifting weights, Tails was building robots, Sticks was practicing throwing her boomerang and you were reading a book.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. You set your book down and opened the door.
"Help! Eggman is attacking our village!" The citizen yelled.
"Don't worry sir. We'll take care of him. Guys! We got an emergency! Let's go!" Everyone stopped what they were doing and nodded their heads.
You and your friends ran towards the village and saw Eggman destroying everything. Sonic began to speak.
"Eggman! Haven't you learned anything from our last battle?"
"Oh but that was just a practice round. This time it's a real deal."
"Yeah right. This will take like three seconds."
"You won't get away with this Eggman." Tails said.
"Oh but I will because I have a new partner!"
"Let me guess? Another one of those robots you call 'friends'?" Sonic asked.
"Shut up! And no it's not a robot. In fact, you've met him before." Everyone was confused.
"Meet my new partner!" Shadow jumped on top of the robot and glared at Sonic and his friends. You looked at Shadow and widen your eyes.
He was a black hedgehog with red stripes. He had so white chest fur on his chest. He had rings on his wrists and he had hovershoes with black, red and white on them.
"Who is that?" You asked yourself.
"Shadow!? He's your partner?!"
"Yup. He gave me another chance to work with him and this time I will not lose!" Shadow rolled his eyes.
"Hi! I'm Knuckles!" Knuckles said while waving and smiling at Shadow.
"You've met him before Knuckles." Amy said.
"I did?" Knuckles asked.
No one said anything. Shadow jumped from the robot and landed on the ground.
"Hello heroes." Shadow said.
"What are you doing here you big bully!?" Sticks asked.
"What does it look like? I'm here to destroy you all." Shadow looked at you making you feel nervous.
"Who's your friend?" Shadow asked.
"This is our new friend and teammate, Y/N The A/T." Sonic said.
"Well it doesn't matter if you have an extra team mate. You don't have a chance against me."
"We'll see about that!" Sonic said as he ran towards him.
Shadow dodged him and threw Chaos Spears at him. Sonic got hit and he fell towards the ground.
You used your ice powers to freeze the robots who were coming at you and Amy. You looked at Shadow and watched him fight. You were shocked from how good he is.
"Wow. He's really good." Y/N thought.
You were so distracted by him that you totally forgotten about the battle.
"Y/N! Look out!" Amy yelled.
"Huh?" You turned around and saw the giant robot was about to crush you.
"Y/N!" Sonic pushed Shadow out of the way and ran towards you with his speed.
Sonic grabbed you and moved you out of the way right before the robot could touch you.
"Thanks Sonic."
"No problem." Sonic set you down gently and smiled. Everyone continued to battle.
"Out of my way you fool!" Shadow said right as he got to him and then he got sent towards the rocks by Sonic.
Soon, Eggman gave up and ran off. Shadow slowly got up and glared at Sonic and the others.
"You may have won this time heroes but next time won't be so easy. We'll meet again Sonic but next time, we fight in my terms." Shadow said as he teleported away.
Sonic looked at his friends.
"Is everyone ok?" Sonic asked. Everyone nodded.
Sonic look at you.
"Are you ok? You've been distracted during the battle a few times."
"I'm fine Sonic. Maybe I was just a little bit tired." Y/N said.
"It's alright. Let's all go home and rest." Sonic said.
"Ok." Y/N said as they all walked home.
"Great job everyone. Another victory. You all did great." Sonic said.
"Thanks Sonic." Everyone else said as they continued to walk home.
