"An offer?" Soomi questioned, an immense sense of confusion arising within her, "first of all, who are you guys?"

S.Coups cleared his throat and leant forward on his desk, the smirk remaining prominent on his face, "we're Seventeen."

"Seventeen..." Soomi repeated, "as in, the gang Seventeen?"

"Bingo," Mingyu replied, taking a seat in one of the chairs so that he could observe.

Almost immediately, Soomi's heart pounded in her chest. She didn't know what she was getting herself into, but she needed out, and fast. A gang was the last thing she wanted to mess with. "Why are you giving me this offer?" Her brows furrowed, but she made sure to choose her words carefully, "I'm just a student, surely there's someone more...experienced...that you could ask?"

S.Coups's head bobbed side to side as he gathered his thoughts. "Well, Chan was the one who brought up your skill in hacking," he explained, "no one in our gang has a skill like that, and with this particular...project, the hacker plays the main role."

Soomi's head was already shaking before he could even finish his sentence, and she stood right up from her chair, "I'm sorry, I can't get involved." She could only imagine her mother's displeasure that she was even in the company of such a gang right now, never mind if she were to involve herself in one of their tasks.

A dry chuckle came from S.Coups' mouth, "you haven't even heard what my offer is yet."

Soomi brought her teeth down on her bottom lip, and she reluctantly brought her attention back to S.Coups. It didn't hurt to listen, right? "Alright, what is it?"

"This memory pen," he held up a simple black memory pen, "if you can successfully export its contents into one of the computers in the back rooms of an auction house, we'll give you fifteen million won."

Soomi felt her mouth go dry.

Both Mingyu and S.Coups shared an amused glance as they saw the girl's astounded expression, confident that they had managed to get her on board.

To Soomi, that was a lot of money. Her head could barely wrap around the fact that all he wanted her to do was plug in a memory pen, for fifteen million won. "This is a prank, right? You're only joking..."

S.Coups' face lit up, and another dry laugh left his lips, "of course not. This memory pen contains sensitive documents that will...take down...the uh...the owners of the auction house." The male seemed a little unsteady about his claim, but brushed it off with a charming smile. "It has to be implemented from within their servers for it to take effect, which is why we need you hacking skills to pass their encryptions and security measures. They won't suspect a thing from a seemingly ordinary girl."

Soomi still couldn't believe what she was hearing. It sounded too good to be true, but with further dwelling, she realised that fifteen million won could help Mr Choi and his debts greatly. It would at least get Bangtan off of his back for a while longer. "Where is this auction house?"

"Ah, well, I'll write down the address for you," S.Coups responded, writing down the address on a piece of scrap paper and handing it over to her.

"An auction takes place there every Wednesday night - which is tomorrow - where people go to buy stolen and illegal goods. The owners have the cops wrapped around their fingers, so it hasn't been shut down yet." Mingyu explained to her.

"And the owners, who are they?" Soomi tilted her head. She wasn't sure if she wanted to know.

"Bangtan," he replied.

Soomi felt her eyes widen ever so slightly, and she muttered a few curses to herself. Out of all the people it could have been, it had to be Bangtan, the ones who started Mr Choi's debt in the first place. Although, if the files on the memory pen would take the owners down then...that would mean their reign of terror would be over.
