"Yah!" Seokjin burst in through the door, holding an iPad covered with a pastel patterned case. "Min Yoongi. If you don't put that knife the frickity frack away right this instant, I'm going to trap you in the elevator again!" He yelled loudly, storming towards him.Yoongi rolled his eyes, as if this was a regular occurrence, before leaning down towards Soomi. His mouth stopped just centimetres away from her ear. "I'll make sure to getcha next time, kitty..." A smirk littered his face when he saw her horrified one, and after receiving the reaction he wanted, he slowly stood up and pulled her chair upright.
Eyes flickering to Seokjin, Yoongi gave him a smug glance before making his way upstairs. With that, he was gone.
Relief crashed over Soomi as she finally saw the rear end of Yoongi. She couldn't have been more thankful that Seokjin stepped in before any more damage could have been done.
She felt blood trickle down her cheek, the feeling almost torturous considering she wasn't able to wipe the ticklish crimson liquid away.
Seokjin pinched the bridge of his nose, before signalling to Hoseok. "Untie her. She's not dangerous. According to her files, she's just a normal high school student," he announced, almost in an 'I told you so' manner, flipping open the case of the tablet. "No gang affiliations, no criminal record, and no reason for us to be concerned."
Hoseok waited until the end of Seokjin's sentence, before he nodded his head and made his way behind Soomi to untie her.
It felt great to Soomi to finally have full motion of her limbs again, but she winced ever so slightly when she caught sight of the bruising around her wrists and ankles. Lifting the back of her hand to her face, she stained it with the blood she wiped off of her cheek.
She stayed firmly in the chair, the other members eyeing her carefully so that she didn't attempt any funny business. Understandably hesitant to move, she cleared her throat instead. "I...I'm gonna stand up now...okay?" She questioned, testing the waters of how much they trusted her not to bust out some assassin moves. After seeing a brief nod from Namjoon, she did exactly as she had said, and slowly stood up. Her legs were shaky, and her vision blurred from whatever head injury she had sustained.
Her hand reached up to her forehead to the epicentre of where the pain was radiating from. The tips of her fingers ran over a small bump, the bump left from the aftermath of her being knocked unconscious.
Her eyes flickered up from their gaze on the floor, and she noticed how the thugs were now gathered around Seokjin and his trusty tablet.
"Lee Soomi..." Namjoon began, scanning over the information on the screen quicker than he could process. Soomi could barely fathom what was on that screen.
"It says your mother is a cleaner for Kim Industries, what a coincidence, that just so happens to be the multi-million dollar company I own," he spoke in an irritatingly nonchalant manner, as if it was no big deal.
Soomi's expression dimmed, and her demeanour faltered as she took in that small piece of information. Without realising, her hands had balled into fists.
They spent another couple of minutes reading over everything portrayed on the screen, before each of their heads popped up and stared at her.
"What is it...?" She shook her head with confusion, the pain in her skull all too much for her to muster the will to furrow her eyebrows.
