Soomi slowly raised her hands, realising that she had been caught. She felt as if the breath had been knocked out of her as she tried to keep from panicking. Today really was a first time for everything.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed her wrist, firmly this time, and as she turned around, she was met with a smirking Jungkook.

"Nice try," he chuckled, tugging Soomi back into the main hall, past all of the guests and finally backstage where there was an exit leading outside. It was currently open, letting a cold breeze come in.

Soomi tried her best to flee, thrashing and wriggling, but his grip never loosened. "Yah! Let go of me!" She yelled at him in Korean. She was so caught up in the moment and afraid for her life that she forgot about the whole English facade.

"Ah, so you do speak Korean?" He teased, continuing to walk until they made it out of the exit. The cold air immediately hit Soomi's skin and her bare feet touched the solid concrete. She shivered, although she wasn't too sure if it was from the coldness or the fear.

"I-I can explain!" Soomi announced, her cogs turning to come up with a convincing lie.

Finally, he stopped beside three cars, all lined up and parked around the back. They were all black with tinted windows, and they looked pretty expensive too. No doubt they belonged to gang members. "Well, go ahead then," Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows as he moved his glare to the girl.

"Uh..." Soomi hesitated for a while, avoiding his piercing gaze, but she didn't have a viable excuse. "I-I got nothing..." She shook her head sullenly and looked down at the concrete ground below her.

"That's what I thought," he finally let go of her and folded his arms over his chest. His eyes scanned her up and down, taking in her features. He had saw her somewhere, it was at the tip of his tongue, yet he couldn't put his finger on it.

Soomi furrowed her brows at him and turned around, not particularly enjoying his stares. As she did so, she noticed six people walking towards them. Their black tuxedos were immaculate and their facial features were godly. She could easily tell that they were well built and unsurprisingly, they were all taller than her. One thing that stood out to her, though, was one guy's purple hair, illuminated by the moonlight.

Soomi felt her heart rate quicken, and simultaneously, her blood boil. "So this is Bangtan..." she mumbled to herself, her eyes trained on them. The men radiated arrogance, and it only irritated her more due to the fact that they had been threatening Mr Choi.

Jungkook stood up straight from his leaning position on the car and made his way towards them. "This is her," Jungkook grabbed Soomi's arm abruptly and pushed her forwards.

Inevitably, she stumbled, scowling as she glanced back at him. Turning her face forwards, she folded her arms defensively over her chest and kept a stoic expression on her face. Even though she felt like the smallest person on earth under their intimidating glares, she didn't want them to know that.

"She doesn't look like a hacker to me..." The one with mint green hair mumbled. He was really starting to piss her off, especially after their previous encounter.

"And what exactly does a hacker look like?" Soomi quipped, working up enough courage to open her mouth. She felt like she could throw up, cry and start a fight at the same time.

"So she does speak Korean!" Another one chimed in. He looked very familiar to Soomi, and she could recognise him as the one that helped her up. He was a lot more hostile, but she was a potential threat after all.

"A thirty seven year old man with an overgrown neckbeard," the green haired male replied, a smug smile plastered on his face.

Soomi held back the urge to roll her eyes. "Well, that's very stereotypical and it-" suddenly she was cut off by the one with purple hair, pushing her against the car so that she was trapped between it and him.

She glanced up at him with wide eyes, her heart pounding.

"You're not here for a leisurely conversation. I don't think you understand this right now, but you're in major trouble. I mean, hacking into our systems? You must either be extremely brave or extremely uneducated as to who you're dealing with. It's a wonder your boss gave you this as a mission. He must want you dead," he spoke in a low voice, a shadow casted over part of his face from the moon shining down.

Soomi said nothing, her mouth fused shut. But he was right, she didn't know exactly how much trouble she was in. This was an extremely dangerous gang she was dealing with, and right now it wasn't looking good for her.

"No answer, huh? What a shame," he sighed and clicked his tongue in annoyance, stepping away from her and snapping his fingers.

Soomi furrowed her eyebrows in confusion until suddenly, she felt a forceful blow to her head.

Soomi slowly woke up with a pounding headache. As her eyes opened, they were practically blinded by bright light, hurting her head even more and causing her to let out a groan of pain.

"Oh, so you're finally gonna wake up?" A voice called out.

Everything seemed to be blurry to her, and all she could do was make out figures. She tried to stand up to get rid of her dizziness, but she couldn't move.

"M-my...head hurts..." Soomi mumbled in a delayed tone of voice, her eyes squinting.

She looked downwards and as her eyesight adjusted, she realised she was tied to the chair by her arms and legs. The ropes were tied tighter than she could imagine and it pained her to even try and struggle.

"W-where the hell am I?!" She exclaimed. The last thing she remembered was standing on the cold concrete behind the auction house, being confronted by Bangtan.

"Well, you're at Bangtan's headquarters. Enjoy your stay, because you'll be here a while." Soomi glanced up to be met with the smirking face of the mint haired man.

"W-what? No! I never meant for this all to happen! I just needed the money, you have to understand!" Soomi erupted all at once, her eyes widening at his words. A wave of emotions crashed within her, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to punch him, curse him out or cry.

"Alright, just shut up a sec, okay?" He held up his hands in a stopping motion. "You can plead all you want, but we caught you on OUR property hacking into OUR computer systems. Did you really think we'd just let you go freely? As if nothing happened?" He scoffed. "That's not the way the world works," his tone of voice was deep and threatening, sending shivers down Soomi's spine. "Besides, you should save your pleading for Namjoon, our boss."

Soomi was rendered speechless, she didn't even think there was anything she could say to help her situation any.

Her eyes glanced around at her surroundings. Huge windows lined the outside wall, and she could tell that they were extremely high up in the building, maybe even in a penthouse.

The place was absolutely enormous. Currently, Soomi was in the main living area which was very nicely modernly decorated. Over to her left was the kitchen/dining area and then there were a lot of doors, each leading into different rooms. Overall, the place had a dark colour theme with black being the prominent colour, which gave the whole place a more expensive feel. The dark night sky from the windows only added to the aesthetic.

Soomi couldn't help but wonder how someone could afford this, but then again, such a gang could afford anything.

In her peripherals, she could distinguish figures making their way toward her. It was the other six members.

"Ah, she's awake," Namjoon grinned deviously.
