I Regret It

It has been a few hours since Jungkook confessed to me. Honestly, I didn't want to break his heart. Yeah, I did go to Yeri's house to ask for tips. I mean, she's better in these things than me. Unfortunately, when I got there, I was stuck. Yeah, stuck inside the house. Why? Yeri forced me to stay overnight, practically begging, since she was left all alone in her house. So as a good friend, I did.

Jungkook wouldn't mind, that's what I thought to myself. I mean, I could give him my answer tomorrow. He wouldn't mind. But why am I feeling like something might happen?

I woke up next to Yeri, who's still snoring. I looked at the time, and saw that it was 9 am already. So I decided to woke Yeri up. Needs a lot of effort though. After she's awake and the both of us are ready, we walked to the hospital, which was pretty close from Yeri's house. As we got there, I just thought of something. I don't know what to say to him. I completely forgot about my answer for Jungkook, since Yeri forced me to watch horror movies, which made me scared to death. As we got to the spot Jungkook told me, there wasn't a single person there.

"Taeri... Are you sure he told you to meet you here?"

"I'm sure. But... he said he'll wait."

At that moment, a nurse passed by. I instantly recognized her as Jieun. I stepped to her, which made her a bit shocked from seeing me. Wait... something's wrong here. She looks sad. Her eyes are red. Then I saw what she brought in her hands. Black suit. Did a patient passed away?

"Jieun-ah... what happened?"

"Nothing. It's okay Taeri. Oh yea, your appa is in his room. I.. I gotta go."

With that, she passed by me, quick as lightning, right before I could ask her about Jungkook. Feeling a little hopeless, I asked Yeri to accompany me to appa's room. Once we reached the door, I opened it, wishing to see Jungkook, or Taehyung, or both of them. But no, all I saw was my appa, his heart beats steadily, his body looking healthier... wait, what?

His heartbeat is steady?

My head started to spin so fast, thinking of a conspiracy for this... this scene in front of me. What's going on?

I called Taehyung as soon as Yeri went home. I wanted to make sure that he's fine. I've contacted Jungkook.. err.. Nochu a dozen times. And he didn't reply once. I was starting to worry that something happened to the two of them. But then, I heard Taehyung's voice.

"Yeoboseo? Taeri?"

"TAE!"

"Slow down Taeri. What's wrong?"
